Though there are zombies, the target audience must be children 5 -10 or gamers who like "Hold My Hand As I Play" games. Nothing can be collected outside of the programmed path; I found required Gas Can, but it wasn't in the predetermined order so I could not pick it up. Just did a mission that had me open two doors to go outside instead of letting me exit through the one I entered from. I think the Devs may be retarded. You are bombarded with popups to buy their bundles enough to become annoying. I have read that they do not stop once you have purchased something, they only reduce the frequency of how often you are spammed. It just goes to show the Devs do not care about their fanbase. How rude.

I am using a trainer and cheating the heck out of it. With 100M Silver and Gold coins, I farm the current trader for every lockpick, Treasure Map, and a ridiculous amount of ammo.

One achievement is to open 2000 safes. You are told when the lockpick breaks, so that is 2000x spam and more.

I love cats. I love quests. Buying this for less than $3 was a given. When I saw the achievement for hitting Level 99, I was like "challenge accepted' and then I found a Level 200 dungeon...
The feline puns and pop culture references [The Pouncing Dead, and a King that is a Lion] make this game quite fun.

This game is fun, but holy F is it frustrating. The AI civilizations will get mad at you for not ruling their way. Tsar Peter likes to cry if your Science isn't to his liking. Barbarossa will commend you for not helping a City-state even if you haven't discovered any. The AI will make war just because, and then they'll beg for peace after losing one unit. They will give you heck for building too close even though it was them that just built 3 hexes away. You cannot give the AI flak for anything.

Basically you build cities and rule them the way the computer wants.

The level of cheap AI Tomfoolery is astounding.

Montezuma has spent 15 turns asking for peace after he started a formal war just because I have jade. You dumb ♥♥♥♥ there's more than just this spot.

I'd give this a 2.5/5 because of AI crybitchiness.

Edit: this was prior to getting Gathering Storm, and some mods. They game is so much more chill now, and I'm enjoying representing Canada. No more Open Borders Surprise Attacks.

Everybody's right with the negative reviews. I just got "executable" missing when I last tried playing, after verifying the file integrity or w/e, I have to start a brand new gd game. Goodbye 22 levels and about 25k of whatever f*&%ing currency.

This game is frickin awesome. I like having to avoid wildlife as well as zombies. Where's the fishing?
