Im getting close to approaching 2k hours in this game having been able to partake in several milsims. We rarely rely on the dlc for our gameplay in my latest milsim and use almost entirely modes. This game has an incredible community of mod makers that offer 10X the content of the base game and its dlc. Always wanted to play HALO as a milsim? Arma. Want to rapel down buildings with friends like ghost recon while snipers sit on a hill adjusting for distance, windage, and much more in ACE in order to cover your rappel? Arma. Want to fly a c130 while all your friends HALO jump out of the back as navy seals? Arma. Want to fly air cavalry hueys loeaded with men into the rice feilds of vietnam? Arma. I think you get the point. If a militry conflict happened you will find it in Arma. While it may be hard to load some of these mods without crashing repeatedly you will undoubtedly find something you enjoy in Arma 3 if you enjoy military games that require planning and team work. If you are a battlefield or call of duty player with no experience of mil sims you cant just hop into this game looking for quick fun it will punish you over and over again. This is a game which requires carefull planning and slow team work if you wish to survive but if you can stand this, Arma 3 is for you. worth every penny.
