Middle Of The Lake

I shall throw myself down,
The deepest lake,
Just to see if I’d drown,
For the challenge’s sake.
The essence of life:
To keep going beyond,
Facing life without strife,
And treating it like a pond.
As there is no worse fate,
Than being kept on the shoal,
So I shall have faith,
And take up control.
Even if I shall sink,
Reaching my final dawn,
I won’t even blink,
As I proudly drown.
