This game might be the embodyment of the phrase: "easy to learn, hard to master". It's a super fun tower defense game that gives you tons of unique options on how to approach a specific problem. At the same time, it offers a myriad of different challenges (races, boss events, odyssey campaigns, ...) and harder maps that can get very difficult to beat.

Earning in-game currency is fair and you definitely don't feel the need to ever spend money on it apart from buying the game of course. Although there are some pay-to-win superpowers, you can totally avoid it and for the hardest mode of the game (C.H.I.M.P.S.), these powers are disabled anyway.

The game is still being updated and the amount of content is truly staggering. So, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true labour of love or a tower defense game with a lot of replay value.
