Love the content, plays pretty good. Definitely a worthy successor to the original space marine. Wish they didn’t make some of the characters stupid but other than that I’m enjoying it. The coop works well for the main campaign, the customization for the missions is nice as well. The PVP has more to be desired but it’s still worth playing.

I have put many hours into this game. Its not for everyone. the learning curve is steep in multiplayer You often find that your army is getting melted and that's just due to not using the mechanics to your advantage. If you got this free to play and expect it to be a fair/ balanced game you have another thing coming. the skill window for PVP is so high. One match you play against a guy who has no clue what hes doing and the next you get rick rolled.

Understand that the DLC came out later than the base game and its not just a cash grab. "PAY TO WIN" isnt the proper term for this game. you can be new and buy the most meta commander but if you dont know how to play youll lose and lose just as hard as before.

alright. its time to change my review. it was a good change with the V1 release fixing and polishing the FOB bleedout mechanics and then adding more bodies to the server. I can now say that i will actively recommend this to all of my friends.

matches are almost impossible to join, i enjoyed the game on playstation but on PC the communiy is trash and not worth the money. matchmaking is a nightmare. save your money.

the community is so toxic. you could be right outside your door and get attacked (and killed) by a guy who has nothing but a spear in inventory. death means nothing to people with a base or group. they gather enough resources to make it not matter. the learning curve isnt to steep but the communtiy is just a bunch of children who normally kill on sight and cant understand that a naked guy with a rock and torch is no threat. i wouldnt suggest this game to anyone especially anyone with a job. you get off for an hour or two and those experienced players will blow right through your wall and steal everything because that resource curve is huge. there is no "getting good" if you cant walk outside without get wrecked. 4/10 the community is this games down fall.

Fantastic game. This puts COD WW2 to shame. Easy death leads to a feeling of dread turning every corner or peaking over a sandbag. This game also features unit limits so no need to worry about an influx of full auto weapons in a time where full auto a was a luxury most militaries didn't have. Putting the game on sale it is no doubt worth the $6 to $10. Along the lines of gameplay it feels a lot like CSGO. The mechanics are very interesting. Officers need radios to call in support, there are limits to the units so you'll never see a whole team compiled of filthy snipers or run and gun smgs. I give this game 9/10. The only cons? The community is slightly toxic, Id say after the free play weekend most of the children will probably be gone. The one shot kills will drive you up a wall, and I'd say the load times are slightly long for such a small game.

dont bother with this cheap game, it has a in game currency that makes the game unplayable and each mode has 1 level unlocked then you need to use this hard to obtain currency to unlock it. save your small amount of money and buy a burger or something.
