This game is incredibly well thought out and has tons of replayibility. All the cards are well balanced due to the devs analyzing run data from thousands of runs. I have unlocked all the achievements but I can't stop from playing over and over. I think it is addicting because there is always new interactions to discover and ways to play the game.

This game is too easy:
After a while, when you start to learn the ins and outs of this game you find it gets quite easy. Then it is time to start ascension mode. I think people who complain about the easiness of this game simply don't know about it. There are 20 ascension levels that make the game way more difficult. The best players still really don't hit 50% win rates on the hardest difficulty. The achievements also are a huge challenge on their own. Overall, it took me around 350 hours to win on ascension 20 with all the characters and unlock all the achievements so it has definitely been worth it in terms of time per price. And its not over: the devs are constantly updating the game so I imagine at least new achievements will appear soon.

It can be really hard at first. If you don't know what to expect, certain encounters can wreck you. Once you start remembering the enemies, the rest is just thinking and experience. Build a deck that can do damage quickly and ramp up damage over time. Most decks require scaling: meaning you get more powerful over time. Don't undervalue block cards and cards that apply debuffs (a disarm or malaise can win a fight on its own). Constantly check your draw pile so you know what to expect from future turns. Check out some streamers; a lot have put 1000+ hours in the game and have acquired some unique insights. You will get better at this game, the first few hours can be brutal but don't give up.
