⠀⠀- 1 Tbsp of Quality Olive Oil

⠀⠀- 1/2 Cup of Quality red wine, eg: Chianti

⠀⠀- 1 Cup of Chopped Yellow Onion

⠀⠀- 1 1/2 Tsp of Minced Garlic

⠀⠀- 25 Oz. of Crushed Tomatoes, or Chopped Plum Tomatoes in Puree

⠀⠀- 1 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Parsley

⠀⠀- 1 1/2 Tsp of Kosher Salt
⠀⠀
⠀⠀- 1/2 Tsp of Fresh Ground Black Pepper



⠀⠀Heat the Olive Oil in a large skillet.

⠀⠀Add the Onion and saute over medium heat until translucent ( 5 - 10 ).

⠀⠀Add Garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

⠀⠀Add the Red Wine and cook on high heat, scraping the bottom of the pan.

⠀⠀Stir in the Tomatoes , Parsley , Salt , and Pepper .

⠀⠀Cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
