Currently in a mixed review state for this game myself, so I'm putting negative until it gets fixed. I'll list some positive and negatives for any who are considering getting the game at its current stage.

Positives:
- Good atmosphere, with really really nice graphics.
- Character design (abilities, voices, story aspects) are really good!
- The main story was honestly pretty entertaining, and they left room for further updates pretty well
- very grindy! I know many hate the idea of grinding but I've always been a fan of it (if done correctly)
- Interesting mastery system and weapon upgrading very easy to understand. Not incredibly difficult to get the materials for weapon upgrades/changes.
- Interesting boss fights with fairly difficult mechanics. Strongly recommend working with people to beat them as the mechanics sometimes requires teamwork.
- Missions are very straightforward and sometimes are even fun to repeat.

Negatives:
- Game honestly kinda gross when it comes to characters. I'm OK with them giving characters some skin but honestly they NEED to offer a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for characters like ult bunny who are wearing practically no clothing, just so that the game can actually be played by people who don't want to be forced to see practically naked people 24/7. I wanted to recommend this game to some friends and they legit couldn't play it because the S.O. or parents saw the content and thought it was a NSFW game. It's fine to keep the no-clothing skins in the game and running around in your lobby, but having to stare and the back of ult bunnies butt the entire time I'm trying to do missions is honestly getting kinda gross.
- Grinding was enjoyable but has gotten progressively less so. A few weeks ago, when I got the game I noticed the extremely low chances to get ultimate characters and honestly I wasn't very bothered, as its specifically a grindy game. The biggest issue I started noticing is that the drop rates don't appear to actually be accurate. I needed a component that had a 25% drop rate, and had to complete the mission 28 times before I got it once. My friend needed a component that had a 20% drop rate and it took him 18 times to get it. Situations like this are being reported frequently all over the discord server, leading me to believe the games specifically choosing to fake drop rates to incentivise the use of IRL money to just buy stuff out of frustration.
- The actual percentages are not only wrong, some of them are rediculous. To get a component for, say, ultimate bunny, there are multiple methods. For the more difficult ones, it requires you to do a mission that you can only do once every 5 minutes, which only has a 25% chance to drop a "Amorphous material" this amorphous material has been oddly hard to get because of the previously mentioned negative, where some people will grind the mission for over an hour and only get one piece. The issue comes after that. To open said material, one has to complete a miniboss fight from a void station of sorts. To get that void station to spawn the boss, one requires a large amount of two other materials, which can only be gotten from a certain few missions. After beating the boss, the fragment only had a 3-10% chance (depending on the bunny piece you're going for) to drop as the reward. This was annoying, but still fine. The problem is that the game has been consistently making it more and more painful to even get to the final step of opening the fragment. I'll explain some of the recent changes that made it worse below:
- The 5 minute timer between the actual mission to get the fragment got on people's nerves heavily but hasn't been
altered at all. People began using an exploit where one goes into private mode and teleports away and back,
resetting the timer, but has apparently (according to several people on the discord server) labeled this as a "bannable offense" as it's "cheating". This doesn't make sense to me as they could find a work around to stop it
easily, but its fine I didn't regardless. The mission itself often requires a specific character, which again isn't that big
of an issue. One of the major issues with the mission is that people often do it prior to you arriving, or ruin the stealth run because they don't need the stealth reward, making it often impossible to actually get what you need. If you want to do it solo that's fine, but its excessively difficult on hard mode, as it doesn't scale based on number of
participants. Overall, the mission, while being the only way to actually get the required materials (should offer more options), is just bad overall.
- Getting the required void fragments to actually summon the miniboss has gotten harder. The game originally wasn't that bad when it comes to gathering the fragments, as your whole group could just work together. The problem came when they changed it to where only those using the correct attribute could receive the rewards. Often, groups don't have the same characters, making it impossible for them to actually work together on these missions, as they just don't have the required typing. I know, you or that friend could just go to a different mission to get the fragments, but often the missions that have high amounts of the fragments only are for two types. They could add more of these missions, or grant higher amounts of the fragments and that would be fine, but having to do a tedious mission up to 4 times by yourself to have a chance to open ONE of your amorphous fragments is ridiculous.
- The actual miniboss mission was made worse recently. The miniboss missions prior to the update honestly were already frustrating because they made essentially normal enemies have insanely high health and shields, aggressively high damage, and several of them have lock on lasers you legit can't stop from killing you unless you hide behind something until its over (the boss can often use this ability every 5 seconds so you don't really get time to DPS if you do it alone). This orginally guided players to join the fight if they happened to be nearby, as the fights really shouldn't be done alone (even on normal mode I die with a maxed out character with level 100 guns). This was difficult but still fine, as everyone got the rewards from the fight, even if you didn't have the required void fragments. The major difference was that people who didn't have the fragments wouldn't get the bonus rewards that were offered. This encouraged people to help others beat the boss, making the fight itself relatively tame and non-frustrating (even if it was still difficult). The game devs messed this mission up twice so far as of the last few updates. They first made it to where your fragments were taken, even if you didn't start the mission yourself (you pay fragments to start the boss fight) which peeved a lot of people off, as they wanted to do the mission multiple times. This was frustrating but acceptable, it just required one to grind the fragment missions a little more (but the group would also often go help). The BIGGEST problem was that they recently changed the mechanic again, making to where it not only takes the fragments, but it now also doesn't allow you to get the reward for beating the boss at all. This has led to these boss fights RARELY having anyone else join, even if you beg people to, as they are short on the fragments. This means that you now have to either go and help them get the fragments (which often takes half an hour at least for easier missions), or lobby hop and hope you find someone to help. Especially for most of the ultimate characters pieces, the hardmode miniboss is practically unbeatable by normal means by yourself, as you legit can't do enough damage with abilities or weapons to kill it before you're out of energy or bullets.
-I've got a lot more to say regarding the bosses, leveling mechanic, and other things but no more space lol

I'm writing this review from the perspective that this is a full game, not early access. If it was early access, it would make more sense due to a lot of very simple bugs (no pun intended) that seem easy to resolve, especially as the games $40 for basically the same missions over and over again (like warframe except that's free). The movement mechanic is usually fine, but the lack of ability to freely jump makes it very clumsy feeling. When an enemy is within range of you the game seems to freak out and your character barely responds to commands, leading to a lot of deaths that aren't your fault. The jump in difficulty when it comes to medium to hard is insane. Friend and I played medium with very little issues, but when we got into hard, we had to abort within 3 minutes because we died repeatedly. Weapons are stuck behind a "premium" pay wall even after paying $40, for what feels like an early access game, is also ridiculous. It allows you to grind for the premium credits for free, which can be used to get the premium stuff, but whats the point of doing that when it should've been given as part of the free pass anyways. Premium credits should solely be used for cosmetics, or even eventual DLCs. A paid-for game requiring you to pay more just to have some weapons (which are legit just basic weapons not even like broken ones) is really sad. Shows a lack of actual care about the players who are already wasting $40. Now, I understand the game has just been released and needs to work on some bugs (which is normal) but the lack of actual meaningful storyline (covered as best as they can by the cheesy humor), the clunky movement mechanics, and the forceful method of making you spend the premium currency leads me to thing this game will likely not take off much more than it has. Hopefully, they can fix it, because the game has been fairly enjoyable so far (other than the bland missions), especially in the multiplayer aspect. Overall, don't get the game yet and let the devs try and make it actually good, or at least wait to buy it on sale. I'm going to continue playing it and hopefully will be given a reason to delete this review soon :)

Literally don't buy this game. The instructions make no sense. The graphics are honestly pretty bad, and so are the controls. The monsters run away 18+ times before you can kill them IF another monster doesn't come and eat it first. The combat system bugged out several times during my first two hunts. REALLY wish i could return this game but I hit the two hour mark while googling how to make it work better. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY! Dauntless is free and is actually 10x better of a game for a very similar content. Literally just play that, it's actually fun.

Early Access Review
Literally the most confusing menu I've ever seen. Also, once in a game, there is no obvious menu or way to leave the match back to the main menu.

Wonderful game, with beautiful graphics and mounts. Favorite part is the mount system and the good atmosphere on the chat/ in the game. Will say leveling past level 17 for characters was a bit annoying, but once you get over that little hump, you should enjoy the game pretty well!!! Message me if you wanna join my guild ;P
