Warframe is the kind of game to have you grind for 300 hours before you can actually have fun.

And that's a generous estimate with the context that I have friends who used to run a big clan with a lot of stuff they could share with me.

As well as the context that I have spent money on platinum, because Warframe is a subscription based game, honestly. If you want to enjoy Warframe without endless tedium then you're gonna have to spend money.

I am at 449 hours right now, but so much of that time is doing mindless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just to get a mod, or a weapon, or a mod for a weapon, so I can enjoy myself. And the worst part is, I won't have completed my build for more than a year, because some of the most fundamental mods in the game are locked behind daily logins, daily login rewards that don't start appearing until 200 and 400 days. I'm at day 63 right now.

Warframe is super fun when you get to play Warframe, the problem is, there's a whole lot of nothing between the early game and Warframe.

I think after giving it more thought though, I can't exactly say Warframe is a bad game. It is fun, it is a lot, but it is fun. And although I can't recommend it to people with very little free time, its a great forever game for people who enjoy having a lot to do.
