Extremely fun, when it is working. Wait until the server capacity problem gets fixed, then definitely buy it.

Absolute Masterpiece, everything Fromsoft has created has pushed this into being. Definitely the easiest soulsbourne game but by far the most varied and expansive in build and environment. I cannot recommend this game enough even to newbies of the genre.

I'm going to leave the original review to show that fatshark, while definitely dropped the ball on the release, are willing to work on what could have very well been a flop of a game due to poor management. This being said the game is in an acceptable place now with crafting being added in full and a few QOL adjustments (with more on the way as it is still live service). Id recommend it now completely as the combat loop is almost unparalleled and satisfying. Hopefully more will come and its all good.


As much as I wish I could rate this game positively, unfortunately in current state I just cannot.
Fatshark has unfortunately dropped the ball hard with this release (the game is essentially early access without the title and missing many key features, such as crafting in a game about editing loadouts). This being said if the game actually gets updates to fix MANY of the current problems I would recommend, but as of right now the core gameplay loop, while fun, just cant justify the terrible release.

A blast both solo and with friends, the game brings a lot of that classic survival crafting as well as some decent combat too. Considering its early access as well the game has a lot of potential. Definitely worth a pick up.

Left For Dead, But warhammer, and LOTS and LOTS of hordes

This is by far the worst state any killer has been in, even pre-rework freddy was better. If you want him for looks and fun alone its worth, but you will not have a good time playing him against survivors with half a brain. If he gets buffed then ill change but till then id advise against purchasing him.

As of September 2020, I will no longer support this game, I once had hope that this game would turn out to be the dino survival simulator with near unparalleled graphics and amount of Dinosaur selection. However, the Dev team has shown time and time again that they have no idea what they are doing, and will only show tidbits of information at a time to bait hype up, only to dissapoint with meager updates time and time again. If EVIRMA ever actually gets out of alpha stage (which was another bait and switch from the devs) then i will re-review again. Until then you are better off buying BoB or any other dino sim.

Would be a great game, but the game is rampant with hackers and the devs seem to be more focused on new content and making money then actually getting rid of them, so until this is fixed, DO NOT BUY.
