After so long, Cyberpunk 2077 has come out and needless to say, the wait has been worth it. The whole environment of the game feels insane. From the slums to Corpo areas, everywhere has its own little knacks and details. Merely the fact that there are interactable elevators everywhere amazes me, feeding into the narrative that this game is situated in 2077 and everwhere is connected electronically. However, there are many issues that need to be fixed.

I've only encountered three issues that I regularly have problems with.

1. On older versions of NVIDIA GeForce drivers, trees and random foliage start to clip through walls, even when they are not supposed to be there. Therefore, a simple update of the GeForce drivers should help to eliminate the bug. Otherwise, this graphical issue is game breaking. It's horrible walking around town and seeing random palm trees everywhere.

2. Lighting issues. There are so. many. lighting. issues. The Ray Tracing in this game is extremely needy. I have a 2070S and running the game on Ultra and with RTX enabled is just horrible. My FPS is in the 30-40s, maybe lower. So, I had to compromise on graphics to attain better gameplay. This meant that I had to reduce the quality of settings like shaders, light from the sun or artificial sources etc. Ray Tracing does nothing to solve these problems. Yes, in a closed environment, people look amazing, even in High Graphical Setting. But, the game poorly utilizes Ray Tracing. Firstly, V doesn't even have a reflection! That means even though with RTX the light from vending machines reflect off the floor and on windows, you cant see your own character, V! Secondly, the game tends to load textures on the go, and it looks weird with Ray Tracing, like in the introduction to Silverhand mission where I was flying to the top of Arasaka tower, the environment below me was just covered with artificial fog and it looked like just one big entity. Lighting issues, hopefully to be fixed in the future.

3. Dialogue. I don't really like how choppy dialogue feels, by choppy I mean unengaging with previous voice lines. At certain points, V can choose to say multiple things at once, some not necessary but it helps you to gather more information. But whenever you finish listening to the optional dialogue and finally select the primary response, all of the other dialogue just seems to be obsolete. Like it was never mentioned. Not cool! It just feels very forced. Also, a NPC issue with dialogue, sometimes people don't move their mouths when talking, but when they do it looks extremely real. -- Not really a deal breaker issue but it just had to be mentioned!

All in all, this game is great. There are still so many things I haven't done in my 18 hours of playing as of when I'm writing this review. I haven't taken a dive in the ocean or fully explored the Megabuilding V lives in. There are countless side quests that I am yet to start exploring. There are even hookers I am yet to screw. Hell, I've only picked one life path! So, would I recommend Cyberpunk 2077 to everyone? Without a doubt - Yes. BUT. Only get Cyberpunk if you have a DECENT graphics card. I'm not talking about your GTXs, I can only imagine what the graphics and lighting and FPS is attainable on a GTX graphics processor but really, really, an RTX is definitely the only man for the overwhelming task of running Cyberpunk. A game like Cyberpunk is all about immersion. When you have below mediocre graphics and horrendous FPS, your experience is ruined. Therefore, think twice before buying CP 2077! If your PC can handle it, go for it, it's probably going to be one of the best purchases you can make in your life! :D
