Early Access Review
Was sceptical after some recent experiences with soem early acces games. but was positively surprised.
This is what early access was originally about! Smooth running and only minor bugs.
It is a feature-incomplete, but proper gaming experience (unlike KSP2... or Skylines 2...)
The features let you glimpse at the scope planned in the future. And the core game-loop catches you even in the early village phase that is there.

For people who like: WS Soviet Republic, Frostpunk, Satisfactory
Not for people looking for: Cities Skylines in the Past, Total War, Stronghold

Balancing Feedback:
if the dev reads this, I think Ale consumption is way too high and/or Barley yield way too low.
Rotating crops is too harsh implemented. Instead of flip all fields at october, rather flip field if:
((Season >= Sep && field harvested) || Season == Dec)
That would solve lost harvests and make the harvest less "hands on".
On that note, maybe consider monthly Workplaces set in advance: Like this family is (Farming Sep-Nov, Windmill Dec-Mar, Berries Apr-Aug). This could automate seasonal work from a players perspective, which I think is neccesary if further down the line the cities shall be much bigger.

Amazing Successor to DiRT Rally 1.

Disclaimer: Many people complain about unfulfilled expectations, like Force Feedback (Patch already released) and not including all the DR1 content. DR1 dropped without announcment, so it got the "Surprise-Factor" back in the day, but it was flawed too at the start. There was a big physics patch for it even... But I guess this is society nowadays, anyway:

The downside first:
- Some bugs are not ironed out, but they seem to work on that. None are game-breaking though.
- The rain during night looks ugly and distracting
- Tarmac physics are no Assetto Corsa... but closer to reality than DR1
- Online Leagues/Clubs are still not released. I hope for a release together with the VR version in summer.
- I wish Argentina would be longer stage

Now Good stuff:
True successor, physics are up a notch again! Gravel and snow are spot on, tarmac is the best in the DiRT series (although not really 'spot on'). Many community requests for DR1 are finally fullfilled with this, including:
- Hardcore Damage (realistic)
- Tyre choice
- Running order and impact on surface condition
- modern car classes like R5, R-GT, R2
- New handcrafted stages (Not like DiRT 4s random generator) And the stage design is very very good. All have a natural flow to them, from technical to fast, offering new unique challenges different to the ones in DR1. Like the rough narrow technical argentina, the fast smooth gravel poland, the leaf covered USA, the winding & banked New Zealand, Australias rough mix of rainforest and farmroads and Spains super smooth racetrack tarmac.
- Longer stages than DR1. Not all locations, but example Poland has 16+ km stages and New Zealand has ca. 10min drive-time stages.
- Not translated english Co-pilot (like DR1), but actually recorded foreign language copilot in same quality as the english.
- Harder AI
- Amazing sound (Engine, Gearboks, rocks)
- Unlocked Livery modding (unlike DiRT 4 crypted files)

You should have a controller to appreciate this game. (Or a Flight stick, once more support is integrated)
I do not recommend flying with KBM.
But then, oh hell yeah is this a worthy new entry in Ace Combat! Looks better than ever, especially the weather. And some of those Drone-enemies really require some new approaches for aerial combat. It's arcade, but it is skill based and hard! And hard games with such phenomenal soundtracks really give me the chills, when you finally nail that mission.
Here's an impression of flying on PC with a PS4 controller on Hard difficulty:
