The main appeal for this game for me is the achievement and the steady progression system. It's as challenging as an idle game can be, but it rewards you for paying attention and using active abilities. I'm about mid game right now (254/530 achievements), and I've had a lot of fun playing this. I think if you're a fan of idle games that have a little bit more gameplay than wait and upgrade you'll enjoy this one. I do agree that the premium membership makes the game much more accessible, but it's a one time payment of like $5 for a free game, so it's not awful. The worst part of the game--and it isn't even that much of a problem--is the achievements for playing during specific weeks of the year, but if you're going to be invested in 100%ing this game playing for a while then setting some calendar reminders won't be that difficult.

Overall, the game is fun whether you're committed to getting all the achievements or not. It held my interest for at least a week before I forgot about it, but now I'm back into it and more than halfway through the achievements. For a free idle game it's amazing.
