This game hits right on the target for RTS games. It has a turn based campaign in which you create massive armies and manage settlements. Then when two armies collide (whether that be an seige or field battle) the real fun begins you can play battles with thousands of soldiers slugging it out. The different factions have huge differences in which you have to play. Romans have superb heavy infantry which can tackle most other infantry but lack cavalry. The Greeks have phalanx that buckle down enemy infantry so your cavalry can finish the job. And the barbarian have cool unique units like the druids and fanatics. This game is very polished and is better than all the other games in the series and i have played all but the first two (rome 2 is on my other account). Me and my friend love playing battles (even though he spams phants and sacred band). I would recommend this game to anyone who plays RTS!
