Couldnt Have Resisted Its Scent

In the beginning he was just another flower whose sent I avoided.

I made my words breif and tho I didnt want to I hid

See I really like flowers but im not like the bee

When I find a flower I dont set it free.

Im toxic to flowers and thats why I hide

All flowers ive been with have withered and died.

But this special flower assulted my heart

Over and over till I couldnt depart.

I followed the flower so attracted by his scent

You wouldnt imagine all the time that I spent

This flower I found wasnt poisend by me

And I could sit and thank god finally.

But what I didnt know and what the flower couldnt tell u

Is that this time it would be me who was poisoned by the dew.

The flower was unaffected but I was slowly dying

But this flower I found was so hypnotizing

I followed it around closer and closer

No one could touch my flower or it'ed be over.

I tried to capture the scent and keep it to myself.

I would put it in a jar uptop a shelf.

But everyone knows flowers dont go in jars.

The broken glass left me with scars.

I found out that day and everyday after

flowers cant live in a jar being captured

His scent was gone and I didnt take it well

Everyday after my life was hell.

I smelled lots of flowers to replace his scent

Went from flower to flower a lover to rent.

My time had run out my poisen set in

Yet another flower whos scent I cant win.
