If I ignore nostalgia and give it a review for someone that has never played it,
then I give it an 8 out of 10.

The only reason I would drop 2 points:
1.) Dated controls (must be played on controller, mouse & keyboard is terrible).
2.) The last third of the game (the Island) is just not great. It has some redeeming qualities,
like the "Regeneradors", but apart from that there isn't much left but complaints.

Regardless, this is my favorite game of all time.
If I count the remake, then I have purchased this game a total of 9 times...
