Greyfox
Probably the most philosophical RPG game.

You play as a new arrival in the small town Greyfox, but mysteriously you can choose the fate of the town's inhabitants; by waking up in their bodies, living a day in their life and ultimately perhaps ending it.
- The power of a God - Normaly you'd fight numerous enemies, find a magical sword and kill the villain to obtain this power.

Let it live
Original story - dealing with a tough moral question.

Cheap Prize - base-price 0,99 and I even got it cheaper on sale.

Trading Cards.

Let it die
This game is really short. It took around 3 hours to finish all endings; and that's by playing it over 3 times.
So it became really repeating.
But you get what you pay for and the price is cheap. - also if they added more inhabitants, it'd probably just be too much.

No replay value.
Since you know the stories it's like if your history teacher started every morning session telling the same old war-story.
Till this day I never understood why history was put in the morning, few students was mentaly awake so early.

The involvement of the inhabitants' lives could perhaps be better, it's difficult to get involved with them living only a little of their life. - Something more about their childhood, actions and persona could help.

Closing Comments
A game which comes with a fresh touch to the RPGmaker collection, original and reflective story. However the execution of it could have been better, you're still left with a feeling of something missing (perhaps because it's so short).
But compared to so many cliche RPGmaker games, I'd recommend this.

This game teaches you it's okay to steal from arrogant people, and I'm surprisingly okay with that O.O'

To the Moon
Is a story rich RPG-Indie game; but it functions more like an interactive visual novel.
So buy this if you're looking for an emotional-stirring story.

The story is about 2 doctors - Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts.
They have the technology to travel through a patients' memories and alter them, so the patient will wake up remembering having lived an entirely different life.
However this will stop a patient from "functioning" afterwards, making them draw their last breath moments later - Meaning this will only be applied on their dying days, if they have a wish they didn't accomplish during life.

Their patient now is Johnny, and he wants to travel to the moon.
Sounds simple huh?
Well, it isn't.. Every action in life have a consequence, a cause, something it inflicts on, and of course you'll find out just why Johnny has such a wish. Did you really think I'd spoil here? :p - No, it's not simply because we all want to be astronauts, this is a much more philosophical story.

Thumbs Up
The story made me really curious. You really don't know what has happened, because it's about an entire life - Hard to fully predict.
It stirs up touching emotions for most people, just read all the other reviews - Many agrees.

The soundtrack is really beautiful, you can listen to it seperately on evenings you just want to relax and reflect on life. I'd even say the soundtrack is what makes up the best and most important part of this game.

It proves a great storyline can beat gameplay.
A very unique story; I don't even recall seeing movies with a similar theme.

The fight scene cracked me up, I was laughing so much my neighbour had to ask what I was doing. It was a pleasant surprise.
You'll know when you get there, if we share the same lame humour. :p

Thumbs Down
The game is really short, it takes about 3-4 hours to go through (Was 3 enjoyable hours, but it's very short for 7.99£, Bundle for 11,99)
So however much I'd like people to support them, buy it on a discount.

Artwork
Well, it's created in RPG-maker so you can't expect more than pixel art. However it contains a lot of digital painted picture scenes, which could have used a little more polishing to really catch the eye.
It does its' business well enough, but I missed a few scenes to be as beautiful as the story.

It gave me a fear for paper-rabbits, you'll know when you get there.

Closing Comments
A touchy story - We'll all feel differently about this, just like some people cry to the Titanic Movie, but I say this story hits homerun for most people.
You pay for quality instead of quantity. Short but strong game; however the soundtrack is infinite (If you don't find a replay-value in the game, you'll probably find it in the music).

"Sometimes I wish i'd done things differently or achieved more, but I'm also happy with my life as it has been..."
Is probably how I'll feel on my deathbed.

More in depth than their other game "A Bird Story".
In case you wasn't fully satisfied by that story.

Next on PopCap's Plants vs. The Walking Dead
Watch as Daryl swaps his crossbow to a peashooter.

Plants vs. Zombies is a fun TowerDefence game in which you defend your house & brain against numerous zombies with all the veggies you don't eat.
For some reason they really want to invade you with zombies on Zambonies, mining zombies attacking from behind, and bungee-jumping zombies (Not hard to imagine how these guys died).

Plants' Thumb Up
Quite high replay-value with;
5 different game modes, mini games and evolving playthrough.

Cute artwork - look at that sunflower smile.
And the Cattail; it got a little hat on. :3 aww

No bugs since the plants uses pesticides.

Relaxing game since it's not difficult to beat.

Zombies' Thumb Down
Even with the replay value, the waves can get a little monotome since it's so easy - But mostly because some achievements require a lot of coin grinding.
However it's a game I've returned back to during the years.

Doesn't take much brain to beat, but it can be a good thing - Makes you less attractive to zombies.

There are zombies on my lawn, I don't want zombies on my lawn!

Closing Comments
A fun game with some good hours to spend. However take some breaks and return to it; I've been playing this for something like 10 years; a few maps occasionaly.

A game that teaches kids not to eat their veggies!

Dungeon Creepster
Is a 15 min. long achievement spam game, where you'll get 500 achievements for pointing in the direction the enemies come from; but since the creeps come from every direction, you can just spam around like a headless chicken - this game actually made me feel like one.
Tip: Stand in a corner, go and make a cup of tea!

Positive Dungeon
I bought this on a high discount, so the cards were worth more than the game. Also I sold my kidney, so i'm a rich ass beast right now.

You get 500 lazy achievements, which can look good on your profile.

A nice game to powernap to since it'll have a draining effect on your brain-activity.

Negative Dungeon
Short spam game - very repetitive.
No storyline or real progress.

The controls are horrible - Very sluggish.
I never bothered figuring out how to change between spells either.

You can't adjust the in-game settings, and there's no option buttons.

I saw no trace of fluffy unicorns, which is a lack in many games.

Oh well, anyway, what did we expect from a game with a base-cost of 0,99 psst, I paid 0,09

KNIGHTS
A puzzle game that has little to do with chess and will hurt your brain, but satisfy your soul.
You can really kill some time with 82 levels to solve, and you will feel smarter afterwards.
If you can't solve the puzzles, you might kill something else in frustration.
Tip: There's been developed so many powerful blenders, it's much more effective than dumping the bodies in plastic bags.. Plastic is also really bad for the environment.
It's estimated that there'll be more plastic than fish in the oceans in 2050, so definetely don't dump the plastic-wrapped bodies there.

You solve the puzzles by moving your different coloured knight to their designed spots; and of course, you only move 2 steps ahead + 1 sidestep - Or 1 sidestep + 2 front leaps.
Sounds easy?
Well some levels are easy, some will get you stuck until you close the game and your eyes; shutting your brain down while feeling utterly defeated by a 2D puzzle game; usually happens on mondays because F*ck mondays.

King's approval
Good variety of puzzles
There's even new daily puzzles, so the game never ends. NEVER!

Cheap prize 0,99 and often on sales.
With steam cards & achievements.

Nice and relaxing soundtrack.

Peasants' Thumbdown
This game will probably hurt your brain.

Not recommended for colourblind people, will just make you move the pieces randomly around even more.

Update - August 2017, they ask for colourblind people to help them confirm if the colours are colourblind-friendly.

Adam's Venture Chronicles
Is an adventure, Puzzle game; less dramatic than Indiana-Jones & Tomb Raider.

You play as Adam Venture - Shh, it's a secret, but I think it's derived from the word ADVENTURE
A smarty-pants, male chauvinist and just as brave as he's stupid.
It almost can't be better; except that every hero needs a sidekick - Applause to the lovely and charming Evelyn, who's as intelligent as good looking. Except that she's fallen in love with a man who ignore her and calls her stupid - Chaptor III

Thumbs Ups
The puzzles vary from easy to difficult, but are all in all enjoyable. They're all rather logic, so you can figure them out on your own eventualy.

The story is good for a game focusing on puzzles instead of "action".
However the first part is mostly like a tutorial, incorporated while exploring the first escavation site.

The graphic is decent - Can appear flat and ugly at times, but it's nice most of the time; with a lot of work applied on the shadows, light and everything that sets the mood.
The characters are often the most graphicaly-ugly you'll see

Thumbs Down
It is a quite short game actually, even with the 3 chapters combined.
So you might want to buy it on a discount.

Alt + Tab will either shut down your game or ruin the graphic or make you get stuck.
Else I experienced few bugs. - Mostly a little of the scenary graphic acting wierd.

The puzzles in the first chapter is boring, but hey - it's like a tutorial.

Some people are bugged by the main characters' personality -

You can't always change the view in some spots, often blinding you for a moment with a cliff or getting you stucked on finding a switch.

You can't walk wherever you'd like, it's a fixed path - Which is a shame, because the scenary can be quite enjoyable.
On the other hand it'd probably just confuse people more, and making them waste time walking around if they missed a switch or key-item.

Closing Comments
Even if the graphic and story is good, it is a bit boring. The game is rather slow-paced even when it's so short, it's probably because you crawl and climb really slowly.
On the edge of pressing thumbs down, but it's still a decent game if you can get it on sales.
The last puzzles were difficult enough i'd say they have some replay value.

Phoenix Force
Is a dodge & shoot - bullet hell of a game.
Seriously, never play this in windowed mode >_<''

As the developer phrase it:
"A) Say the game is unfair because you die with a single hit and there are no weak enemies and then cry with your mama; or
B) Dodge all this bullet hell and destroy the enemies in 30 seconds because you are a real gamer!"

So if you're a real gamer or just won't take this insult lying down, then you have hours of bullet hell ahead of you.
The game is full of different enemies, some you'll hate more than others, on your way to rescue your Phoenix friends.
tip: Don't watch porn meanwhile, you don't want any distractions in this bullet hell; but ehm hey, who'd get distracted by porn anyway.

Positive Phoenix
The game includes a lot of levels with a mix of enemies.
I don't remember how many levels there were, but it included 200 bonus levels or so on top of that.

The difficulty is moderate, some levels are easier than others depending on your playstyle I guess. I beat most levels in maximum 5 tries, except for the last one. OMG!

The graphic is nice, the background is moving as you fly, and the colours - ohh, all the pretty colours. O.O

The ending is especially beautiful.

Decent prize, steam cards + achievements.

Negative Phoenix
It's not like a negative thing, because it's not essential in these types of games. But there were very little storyline - However more than usually.

And that's it for the negativity :P rejoice!

Closing Comments
I totaly went with the Frozen Chicken. The power to freeze time and neutralise most attacks was so powerful for me, guaranteed at least 1 defeated enemy.
The cold never bothered me anyway!

Star Sky
Is a walking simulator of a man taking a midnight stroll with multiple endings to achieve depending on your actions.
I've taken many night strolls myself just to relax and let the thoughts and imagination flow freely; and this game sets the mood with some nice BGM/BGS and some rather beautiful but simple artwork.
Very short, but if it was longer it would probably get boring because of the simple gameplay. You can only walk/run right .

There's not really a storyline, but there's no need for one either I'd say.
Why is he out at night & and what's the meaning behind all of those strange phenomenons.
The truth will only be revealed once you play the game - but the corpse will never be found. Unless you play the prequel.

Thumbs Ups
Great soundtrack, however a bit monotome in the long run.
But it sets the mood together with the sceneries and you have to listen to the sound, since that's the guide for changes.

Makes you relax (At least for me; but I was playing this after a really stressed day)

Give this to a kid telling him/her it's the most action full game ever - Makes a simple April-Fools.

Thumbs Down
Simple gameplay

Short game with low replay value - Rather just leave it running for the BGM.

Closing Comments
Unique concept, artistic and enjoyable, but definetely not the type of game for everyone.
Gives a few hours relaxing time.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality

They Came from the Moon
Is a simple puzzle game, where you guide a number of aliens, Bantarans, to a portal using "jump blocks" on the right spots.
A simple version of the Dibbles series.

Thumbs Ups
If you're an achievement hunter, you will get the cheeves for just being idle for 2 hours.

Often on a high discount or for free.

Includes Steam Cards.

40 levels to beat, can make you spend some time.

Thumbs Down
Simple gameplay - doesn't leave much for the imagination.
Simple Graphic too.

The levels are fairly easy, kinda boring.

No or low replay value

Closing Comments
I found this game too simple and boring.
However if you have an interest in this sort of puzzles, I really recommend these steam games - Spirits -
Or Clones

This review contains a lot of anime-references.

The Way We All Go
Is a hybrid romance/horror visual novel where you play as "Atcchan" a timid boy coming back to his old hometown to visit his grandparents and friends, well aware that he left "some" problems brewing while he was gone. Buhuuu!
While still less pathetic than Shinji Ikari - Neon Geneses Evangelion, you're still limited in your choices of atoning. To top it up, your timid personality and anxiety for not hurting a friend might make even the "right" decisions sound wrong; in real life it can be impossible to please everyone too. Wheep!
But be aware that every choice has an effect, often hidden. Like when Keiichi gives the doll to Rena rather than Mion in Higurashi. Smack!

I didn't notice this was in the horror genre on my first playthrough!
Trying to please everyone equally ended up with Atcchan imitating the guy from School Days.

Thumbs Ups
Noelle - The possible Yandere whom you will love a little. She definetely deserves better Atcchan; you moron! It's like the Lucy Elfenlied relationship, I wouldn't mind having my head severed by her. Ehm.. Well.. You know.

The other girls' personas are as different as the endings; suppose this is "mandatory" for a harem feel - relating to Clannad, Little Busters etc. but they exceed the boundaries and limitations set on their personas; making it enjoyable to learn their backstories, which you can put together after several endings.
Oh, the many nights I've reflected on why they did what and for what reason, only to unlock it later and everything seems to make sense - Or you start thinking, "No, Don't say either of those things Atcchan, you don't know about the rabbits in this playthrough"!!

The writing flows well.
- Few typos and errors
- Enjoyable onomatopoeias - Sound words Yes, I googled this word too

The music - really adds to the Higurashi atmosphere.

High replay value.
Else the fast forward buttons are nice and easy to use.

Sadface
The graphic seems a little amateurish most of the time with a few scenes that are well made, let's call it unique.

You might/ will hate the protagonist for his paranoia, weak will, anxiety and inability to control his train of worried thoughts in his head. But it also breathes in new life to the "always rightious and strong protagonist even when he has a sad backstory with for instance a drunk father"- persona that every girl eventually falls in love with.

As long as I remember, the price on the Onodera steam cards has ranged as high as 1 dollar, while the others has been between 0,07-0,16 - meaning if you're stingy you probably won't craft the badge.
However it just recently seems to have evened out between all trading cards. May 2017.

Closing Comments
If you're into Visual Novels which does not include puzzles or other such interactions; and you can get used to the graphic.. Then this is truly a VN worth the time.
So get yourself together and get on The Way We All Go!!
