TLDR: Looks Shallow on the surface but has depth, they added new items to base Losomn, N'Erud and Yaesha, a single "one shot" run wont give you everything the DLC has to offer as there are still secrets(similar to the base game areas).

9/10 Simply because i got abused by the new enemy to be traumatized, they may have patched it but i still see the damage they do to me pre-nerf in my head whenever i see them.

Okay after completing the "one shot" you would think you have gotten everything from the DLC but without getting into spoilers there's always more in the area just like the base game, this DLC adds to the pool of Losomn in the base game and there are cool unique interactions between them netting you items. Speaking of items they added more of em into Base Losomn, N'erud and Yaesha(which i honestly didn't know till i got them) and there's a reddit post trying to collate most of the secrets people are still finding.
so for it's asking price i would say this is great value for a DLC as i've been charged for way less in this day and age.

Don't go in expecting the game to like RoR2 as it plays quite differently although sharing the same gameplay loop, however this is a faithful remake of the RoR1 with new characters, items, mobs, stages and QOL additions with Steam Multiplayer(Thank god).
For the price it's an easy 9/10 and a easy 10/10 if they iron out a few kinks

i'll save you time and say its not Dungeon of the Endless so don't go in expecting something like a sequel, but it feels like it's trying to be its own thing and i love it, music's great, graphics are nicely stylized and gameplay is fun. Cant wait for more additions to it.

i don't really write reviews for games but i usually tell people my reviews on the games i play so here we go.

TLDR:
Stealth 9/10
Loud 7/10
Overall Gameplay 8/10
Game has great stealth gameplay and depth, a pretty standard but intense loud gameplay even with the reduced cop density skills are less reliant on guns you use and not as bonkers as Payday 2(which i like).

The Deets:
Stealth mechanics are more engaging in general lock picking, camera hacking, luring and grabbing people.
Sometimes it feels like i'm playing Hitman the way i would just snatch a guard or person into a closet just to put them out of play and other time i feel like i'm playing Watch Dogs all this small mechanics combine to make a very good foundation for stealth gameplay should they add more to it.

Loud feels similar to Payday: The Heist where as Payday 3 may have lower cop density the few cops they throw at you in groups actually manage to keep up a firefight with the Shields actually protecting their mates for them to shoot you and dozers would charge in to break your defense all the while a cloaker will try to dodge your bullets by sliding/wallrunning/walljumping to avoid getting shot till they get within distance to charge at you, compared to the limitless cannon fodder they send at you in Payday 2 where cloakers would just hide and wait or dozers would just march on slowly to you.

Skills are very different from Payday 2, this might be a turnoff for some people because Payday 2's skills were pretty bonkers and sometimes imo OP(looking at you dodge build) where you could soemtimes ignore large groups of enemies. However in Payday 3 Skills have been changed to use certain resources called "Edge","Grit" and "Rush" all of which corresponds to their apparent uses and provides minor buffs, "Edge" is usually for damage dealing e.g. you can use "Edge" to make your shots penetrate heavy armor , "Grit" is about taking damage
and can lead into skills that provide you a saving grace to prevent you from being downed, "Rush" is about speed and movement leading into skills that allow you to not get stunned or making cameras be unable to detect you trespassing.

Gunplay feel much better from sound to animations albeit this is to be expected as due to Payday 2's diesel engine.

Graphics Tremendously better than Payday 2 due to Unreal but im not really a graphics guy im more on the gameplay.

Overall Payday 3 is a solid game than Payday 2 on launch (as i feel it unfair to compare it post launch with all the DLCs you had to pay for to make the game interesting) and plays more like a mix of Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 which is what they wanted so props to them.

After the patch which made all difficulties easier along with fixing various exploits and buffing team play, gun play and survivors in general which is great step in the right direction. Should they continue with this path this game will certainly do better.

DLC content has been good so far if you love destiny for it's game loop, story however will have to wait for it to be told through the season.
