Early Access Review
This is great game for any true rail enthusiast. It is the modern day version of Railroad Tycoon.

The game is very interactive and yet easy to navigate at the same time.

The great attention to detail makes me believe the developers worked for the railroad at one time. Just by the little things like being able to kick cars while switching, or using grades to drop cars.

The price is almost to cheap, granted its a early access game. Can't wait to see what the full release will be like!

The best DLC Route I have purchased hands down. Given the nature of it being a interurban rr the game play is much more interactive then the normal class I mainline routes.

Me personally being a railroad engineer in real life for a regional railroad in the midwest, I find operating a interban line a nice new challenge (yes I know true railroading can only be felt by sitting in the seat) but this is pretty damn close.

Now that I am hooked on interurbans and being from the Chicago area, we need a DLC route of the Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee!

I downloaded this game about two years ago when it was still early access. I logged about 80 hours in at the time. As I though the game had great potential but many bugs to work out.

Over time the developers done a great job fixing bugs and adding depth to the game play. Since its full release I have played every spear chance I get and have put in another 50 hours the last few weeks.

Pros:
- The game has a lot of action to manage.
- You can hire people to make certain task automatic, or do it yourself.
- While there is alot to manage. The game is easy to manuver.
- The games developer didn't just take the early axcess money and run. They continued to add items and fix bugs. Side note they now developing DLC's which I have yet to purchase.

Cons:
I have only one. And that is the game can be quite tricky when adding onto your terminal at first. For instance adding baggage handling requires you to connect each gate to it. And if the gate is occupied or even has a incoming flight assigned to that gate you can not close the gate and add baggage handling to it, Samething with adding checkin counters. Once you figured it out and haven't lost all your money trying too, the adding on becomes a fun challange.

This game is well worth the $24.99 price.

I download this game a few years ago and forgot about it. Since rediscovering it, I have had a hard time not playing it. I have played mostly the railroad aspect of the game and a little bit of bus operations. But from what I have played the details to the railroad equipment is awesome, with a wide range of locomtives such as GP9's E units, and with mods you can get SD70's, MP15's, Sd40-2's, etc.

The running a company end of it is very well done. Lots to manage but not too much to where it takes away from the game.

The track laying tools can be a little annoying. And until you get the hang of it making switches can be a challange becuse it sometimes over laps the track and makes a diamond instead of a switch.
