I would definitely recommend this game only once the price has dropped.

Fallen Order plays like a fun crossover of The Force Unleashed, Uncharted and strangely Assassin's Creed. The combat is enjoyable and doesn't just feel like a hack and slash system. It's a fun game for someone looking for a Star Wars adventure.

There are, however, drawbacks which brings my opinion of this game down:

- This game really isn't open world, I wouldn't even call it semi-open world. Once you've completed the game the fun just stops. Your options are limited to: trying the game on a higher difficulty, searching for crates to upgrade your lightsaber/edit appearance and go back to previous locations to fight enemies you already have before.
- The force skill-tree is very short. You can earn an unlimited amount of skill points and unlock literally everything in the skill tree. I was expecting the game to be Skyrimesque in the sense that you would put more point into a certain branch and be more powerful with that ability. For instance, putting more points into force abilities would mean your lightsaber skills aren't as good.
- Plot holes. I can't explain all of them but there are just some points in the story which really do not make sense. There are some scenes which really are good, one of them being in the Clone Wars era, but in a fair few instances plot armour saves the characters.
- Lack of replayability. This is a minor one. The arguably most fun mission in the entire game is the last mission, but once you complete it you're slapped with 'you will not be able to replay the fortress mission'.
- Also very minor one: you're able to literally cut animals in half, cut their limbs off etc...but not to human enemies.

I understand this review seems very negative, but there are more positives to take from this game. I just think the game is devoid of enough content for it to be as expensive as it is. They could have just added an arena or something so that players could go and practice combat for as long as they want without having to travel to a planet and find a small group of enemies to fight.
