Honestly one of the best single player experiences I've ever had, it had me hooked from start to finish!

I don't review often.

But this game... is the most fun I've had in ages. It's captivated me from the start.

Highly recommended, great with friends, great mechanics it's just a fantastic hidden gem of a game.

Great game!

Empty promises...

Verdun has really improved recently, the graphics, sounds and gameplay have all been improved. So i can finally write a review and recommend the game to everyone! Its great and is finally so immersive.

This game has it all:
-Excellent Gameplay
The weapon mechanics truly make this game come alive, the core gameplay is extremely well balanced. Vehicles have an fantastic control system, that requires a efficent squad to effectively function.
-Excellent Maps
For such an old game, only recently tripwire added a large collection of new maps, all for free! The maps themselves have a good mixture of linear playstyle, with a good width and depth, so that each playthrough will be totally different.
-Teamwork
I love that the game requires a good amount of teamwork to succeed, this being said its rare you find a good commander. In my 300 hours of playing, I think I have a 90% loss ratio. This does not mean that the game was not fun, I enjoyed every second.
-Great Atmosphere
The music and sounds are really what make this game great, not only can you hear the shouts and cries of your enemies, but you can taunt them in return. All gunfire in the game is not placeholder, it is the gunshots of other players.
-Endless Replayability
I can't tell you how many times I've used this game as a go to when bored.

For a game that is 5 years old, with almost consistently full servers. It truly shows how good this game is.
