The CO-OP Shooter weve been looking for!

Do you like co-op shooters but find most of them to be overly complicated and/or way too far in their life cycle to be able to understand what in the hell is going on?

Do you like co-op shooters but hate the repetetive grind for arbitrary loot?

Do you like planetside but suck ass at pvp?

Do you just want to drop in with your mates and kill stuff with no dumb pay walls or level gaps or whatever holding you back?

if so,
THEN THE FIGHTING FORCES OF SUPER EARTH NEED YOU SOLDIER!

Story's nice, gameplay is nice, all in all solid good fun alone, But the real fun begins when you get together 2-3 friends to play it with, thats where this game goes from "nice" to "a boatload of fun".

Good fun, story does have a few of those "youre just making me take the long way to shoot more bad guys arent you?" moments but again that generally good fun. my one gripe would be that the abilities (the ones gained through upgrades at least) arent as prevelent in combat as i would have hoped, youre still relying quite a bit on what boom stick you might have (might just be my opinion though). but i never actually found out how to get the strength mode - might have just been me being not very smart or its just not in campaign, either way, the armour and stealth modes are both there and both are pretty fun. The abilities that you can upgrade with them with feel kinda more like a secondary weapon though, you can only ever equip one at a time, and yes, you CAN change them on the fly but, you have to come to a complete stop and your hands and arms have to be inside the vehicle before you can do so. But at the end of the day, they arent even all that powerful (probably intentional - i just like a little more power with my power armour). Another thing i found, was that the martial abilities (i.e engageing in good ol' fisticuffs or ground slams) to be incredibly clunky, it might just have been me, but i found the ability to make the armour mode itself more effective more useful than they were (you can only equip one, remember?). Can i recommend the story itself? Yes. Would i call it super special? No. I think above average is what i would call it. All in all i would say this game is plain fun and definately worth your money.

Really fun to be able to have this kind of custmisation in a game , also the building system is really easy to get the hang of .
