Is this a good rpg? No. Is this a good action game? Yes but with some problems. The main problem is the pacing of the game that has you fighting some of the most epic boss fights to doing the most boring quests in video games. It's unfortunate that it takes the game quite awhile to open up the depth of its combat system, but when it does is in fact an amazing ride. I strongly recommend a new game+ playthrough where you aren't held back due to restrictions from story progession.

Quite literally one of the best action jrpg available. The amount content that this game opens up at every new game+, characters builds, weapons variety, unlockable skills has kept me playing this game for almost 500 hrs. Don't look at this game and thinks this is just another souls like, that is in my opinion just a shallow and somewhat dishonest description of what Nioh 2 actually is. It would be more appropriate to called Nioh 2 a ninja gaiden rpg. Your actions and attacks starts off being slow and deliberate, but once you start unlocking your weapon skills, getting your build together, getting your powers, you just hit a hard switch this becomes non-stop, fast-pace action spectacle and is easily comparable to top quality character action games. Nioh 2 is absolutely worth it.

You get what you want just looking at the trailers of this game. This is "HIGH SPEED ROBOT ACTION."

A horror game that doesn't cripple players by preventing them from even defending themselves. The game lacks variety but the gameplay is solid and doesnt tip to the extreme of actions like its previous series installment or to the extreme of helplessness you can find in many recent horror games. I would recommend getting the extra contend as they are great source of levity and challenge for a already great game.

If you have already played the previous shadowrun games by harebrained schemes and want to know where this third games stands, well hong kong is definitely the best of the three shadowrun games. Better weapon variety, better magic spells, faster hacking, expanded stat system, expanded cybernetics, and ZOMBIE SAMURAI. Shadowrun Hong kong is great and I absolutely love it.

Sleeping Dogs is essentially a GTA game set in Hong Kong with a bigger focus on its hand to hand combat rather than gunning down cops and thugs. I would say the game's focus on its fighting system makes it stands on top of the GTA games. Unlike any of the GTA games, Sleeping Dogs puts plenty of satisfying cinematic flare to its gameplay. You arent just meshing buttons to beat up goons, you have to utilize various different attack combos, grab moves, interactable enviroments, and counters moves and all gives the game a sense of fluidity and fun that you would see in any good action film. Even the gunplay (even if scarce and limited) is quite fun because of how being flashy works really well in this game. I never get tire of jumping over cover, enter slow-mo to shot some enemies off the sides and then parkour over some obstacles an enemies is hiding behind and automatically performing a takedown attack. This game captures the feeling of a classic action film.
The game got sick kung fu fighting gameplay, cinematic slow-mo gunfight, great voice acting in both english and cantonese. If classic Hong Kong cinema like Hard Boiled or Police Story are your thing, than this is a game for you

The only game where you in-game love interest is someone you never had any romantic interest in. 10/10 this game is an absolute blast.
