I played this game to distract myself from apartment hunting. I think that there is no better context to play it. I will probably replay it in a year, when my next lease is up.

I really want to recommend Halo Infinite. The gunplay is great, the graphics are great, runs fine (at least on my machine). The new game modes are fun, the new weapons are great its just,

You can't choose your colors. Like seriously. There is only like 10 different colors you can be and half of them are locked behind the battle pass. If everyone was red and blue that would be a total non-issue, but yall removed that to highlight the colors! So now everyone is identical!

And like, emblems. Also can't customize those! Nor can you change the colors! Like who is making these decisions???

And the progression. I’m ok with a battlepass, I know others arent, but who cares. What sucks is how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow progression is. Challenge based progression is disheartening and slow. I feel like i'm being punished for not playing a certain way. Have challenges be a bonus, not the main method of progression.

And if you're going to force me to play strongholds or whatever, at least let me choose to play it, MCC had this figured out. Let me choose how to play. Also where's swat? Where's FFA? Infection?

Yall I want to love this game, and probably will play it anyways, but like, damn. I feel like my complaints are only with the little things. The big things are spot on

Hopefully I will be able to change this to a positive review soon

Update: the gameplay is still great, but the Tenrai event is just doubling down on the monetization scheme

I really wanted to like this but I just cant bring myself to tolerate this writing. Idk, it just seems like baby's first cyberpunk story, but quirky as hell.
