Having completed the game (the main questline at least) I can say that this game massively builds on the simplistic combat system from the previous game and adds a whole lot more class customisation, very few of the jokes are a miss and the game is defiantly longer than the previous. Much like the previous game, you feel as if you're in a South Park episode with the minimalist interface when exploring. Also, costumes and stats are now separated so you don't have to worry about giving up your 'cool' appearance for better stats.

Many people are angry at the day 1 DLC, but having played the game without the DLC it has felt far from an incomplete game as the DLC is mainly cosmetic. Definitely worth buying the base game if you enjoyed The Stick of Truth.
