I want to love this game, it is fun and I love giving it a try even if I am mostly overwhelmed when facing characters like Seth. Still, this port is a mess- the matchmaking is unstable and the game crashes very often. The netcode works like a charm when it gets the chance to do it, but sometimes playing it can feel frustrating. It's like trying to fix a broken car to get you to work.

So until they don't fix the port, please stay away. I really want to support Fpan and I love this franchise and their games, but not like this. So wait a few weeks and buy it after they fix the port.

Doing runs and learning to beat the game feels amazing, just for that it's worth it. It's a lean game that feels deep and rewarding to put time into, and it made me apreciate rogue-likes more.

Honestly, a pretty enjoyable CCG that feels pretty good to play. Pretty generous so staying FTP is viable, and you don't have to grind to death to get a decent deck thanks to rerolls. Game feels balanced with every craft having a viable deck that can be meta, and little RNG so each loss feels like you deserve it. Take 2 is an interesting take on arena that is quite fun and is a good way to learn to play and how each craft works. The Evolve mechanic gives everything a fresh spin and helps the second player come back and just add depth to the game. Plus the artstyle is great if you are a fan of the anime style, so that's a plus in my book.

So really, if you are interested in finding a good game about trading cards on Steam, look no further than in Shadowverse.
