This game captures the feeling of hopelessness, tragedy and despair. From hearing your people's scream as the generator explodes, or watching them die from starvation, the atmosphere is perfect.

I love to open this game with some coffee, or hot chocolate, because this game also has a warmth to it. It has a cozy feeling to it, watching your settlement expand, the soft glow of the steam hubs, the generator working at providing warmth to your people. It all has this oddly warm and comfy feeling to me, but, hey, that could be me.

If you enjoy a game where you have to live with your decisions, most you may regret later down the road, or take the challenge of designing your settlement so everything is in a heat zone at all times, or simply trying to survive the storm, this is for you.
