Decided to make a new review after my playtime has doubled since.
I can still highly recommend Arma 3, I have every DLC
(except Global Mobilization, love the DLC but don't have a use for it, sorry guys!)

Arma 3 is pretty much an open platform that can be compared to Gmod in terms of the freedom one has with modding etc.
I've played about every Gamemode that you can play on Arma, from Milsim and Life servers to KOTH and Warlords.
Everyone has their own style of Gamemode that they like, but I have to recommend you try Modded Life and Milsim servers, find a group or server on the Steam discussions and just enlist into a group, it's been keeping me playing for years now with no sign of stopping.

TL:DR Love Arma, you should get it, I'd buy it on Sale though

Absolutely amazing Gameplay,Great plottwists and worth the money.A very touching story where I won't say anything but the ending was interesting is all I will say, definetly worth playing through.
