Why cant we display our eggs on our profile showcase?

Single player works fine but it says servers are down every time i try to log in to online.
(EDIT)- I had to contact 3 different EA employees in order for them to send me another copy on the EA launcher. Once i received the copy on the EA launcher i was able to connect to online servers. This might not be the case for everyone but this is what i just had to go through to finally connect to online servers. There was some old money exploit for the game awhile back and EA had to take it down from steam so i had to pretty much give them proof of my purchase and all went well after that. Love the game hate EA.

FOMO- PSA its only a scam if you buy the bananas.If you're just receiving free items there really is no down side. (They serve as a profile showcase item.) I like bananas.

The game will not work unless you do this first! It is a very simple fix so no worries i'll help you out!

Step 1: Download this patch from Nexus - https://www.nexusmods.com/prototype/mods/52

Step 2: Navigate to your steam library and right click Prototype, Click Manage, then Browse Local Files. (You are now in Prototypes main folder)(There should be files and a "Prototypef.exe" file in there) Dont click anything just keep that folder open on the side.

Step 3: Open/Unzip the file you just downloaded from Nexus labeled "PrototypeFix" (There should be around 5 files in the "PrototypeFix" folder.)

Step 4: Highlight all 5 files in the "PrototypeFix" folder & drag & drop them into your Main "Prototype" folder right next to the "Prototypef.exe"

Step 5: It will ask you if you want to replace existing files. Click yes replace all.

AND NOW IT WORKS! THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

side note-( When you launch Prototype for the first time make sure you click "ALLOW" on the pop up for steam. ) I missed it the first time and got a black screen on boot but after i relaunched it and noticed the pop up and clicked allow everything ran great!

The reason the game crashes on start up is because the game is trying to load billboard ad texture that no longer exist in the game.
