This game... Has gone to hell. Since Harada left the lead to Michael Murray, the game switched from the pinnacle of its genre in 2017-2018 to a circus in which the balance team keeps making a mess after another. Geese, Akuma, Leroy, the latest (patch 3.30) Mishima totally unneeded buff a crap show, proving that whoever is in charge and works on it only looks at characters usage data, not at the logics that would actually balance the game. Considering this together with the terrible netcode, it's inevitable that the advice is not to get Tekken. As long as it will lead and managed by mr. Murray, Tekken will not improve, but on the contrary continue to spiral down towards mediocrity till the appeal of it, its decades-long history will be just a pale, pale memory.
