After trying the demo, I bought the game because it seemed interesting enough. But It sadly fell quite short for me. I'm not the biggest fan of horror games, so make of this what you will, but I don't think I can recommend the game. I found the combat to be lackluster, it seems to be slow paced to encourage a more careful and methodical approach, which I usually enjoy in games. But it fell flat as there really isn't much 'method' to the combat at all. Most fights were either shooting a few shambling enemies in tight corridors, or wailing on the invincible enemies to get them to stop bothering you for a period of time. The boss fights especially felt like I was doing more button mashing than actually paying attention. The story is mildly interesting, and has enough points that I was curious about it, but it wasn't enough to make up for the gameplay for me. It's not a terrible game, and I'm sure its great for those who are prefer the horror genre, but it failed to draw me in.

Been a huge fan of the game for about 7 or 8 years now, and played through a lot of updates. The original ascii version is fantastic and the Steam version is a perfect adaptation of it. Adding in a UI, soundtrack and other quality of life improvements such as real graphics and mouse support. The game is quite in-depth and can be a bit of a challenge to just jump right into. But if you enjoy niche games with a lot of customization and control, with a lot of moving parts, then this game is for you.

At the time of this review Adventure mode is yet in Beta, and I will edit my review upon its full release.

Extremely fun game built around a strong narrative, with tons of player agency & freedom, as well as tons of replayability.

Halo MCC for PC is as good as it's console counterpart, all the primary Halo Titles from CE through 4 are there and play extremely well. The port to PC was flawless in my opinion, the games feel and play exactly the same as they did on console. The graphics tweaks and 60+fps updates as well as other quality of life changes make this virtually perfect.

I'm a longstanding fan of TF2. I`ve spent around 3000 hours of my life in the game, made youtube videos & essays discussing it. Had deep conversations with others about the game. It's genuinely my favorite game of all time, and quite possibly the best game ever made. The combination of its goofiness, serious tones, items, weapon & map variety, the competitive scene, the friendlies. The gameplay is smooth and crisp, and feels better than any gaming experience Ive ever had.

This however is overshadowed by the overwhelming cheat & bot problem. At this point, public lobbies are near unplayable because bots make up well over half of the population of servers. If valve would simply address this problem, I could recommend it. But until such time, I can only recommend a specific curated experience in private community servers.

Team Fortress 2 is a timeless masterpiece, and always will be.
