It had recently dawned on me that I hadn't seen you online in some time. Life gets busy for us all, rigs go down, things happen, I get it. Was going to send a message to ya to see how things were going but then I saw the comments. Not the news I was expecting.

I was already missing our endless chats about builds on X-COM and ways to make 5,000+ turn games of Civilization last even longer. Now I miss them all them all the more cause I know that's all there will be. However I am glad that we got to have them and that we got to be friends over the years on VGF and here.

Your passions live on in those who knew you and shared them. I know you certainly helped expand my horizons into series I wouldn't have otherwise touched. Jurassic World Evolution on Switch plays surprisingly well though portable mode is ugly as sin.

And thanks again for giving me the kick in the pants I needed to actually play Mass Effect when I was deployed.

I miss you every day Uncle. I check steam games that you have played and reviewed and my heart sinks that you won't get to play them again. When I get excited about some new games coming out my heart sinks lower knowing you will never get to try them.

I hope the afterlife exists and that you are at peace. Hopefully one day we will get to meet again somehow or in some way.
