Im not going to lie, this is the worst game I've played on steam, the amount of bugs are incredible, the scuffed dribble meta where the animation cancels makes the game not fun, not only that but the devs dont care about customer support or anything to do with the game except for how much money you spend on the game, for example, The 2K servers went down, I was mid single player game, went to buy some boost (which you can only do in online) went online got my boost, added a badge. Was wondering why my badge wouldnt go on, I realized the servers were down. No problem I restarted my game, only to find that I had been banned for "Violating terms of service"- Which is obviously impossible because for some reason theres no way to talk to the community, find new friends to play with as you cant find them on steam "in current game". I have messaged 2k support to get my error ban sorted, however they said it may take 2-3 weeks, not only does this mean I cant play, I cant collect my daily rewards which i have done daily since release, I cant complete my daily quests, I am unable to start my rebirth build because I will miss the mission and guess what, I miss the whole 3 quarters of the season so I will miss out on loads of rewards for the current season, all because of the lack of game optimisation. Im scared that I wont even get unbanned as I have heard stories of people saying that they didnt get their account back and the ban appeal is up to admins (i agree with if there was an actual violation of terms of service) however in my circumstance I am being punished for 2K's mistakes.

Stating all this, I will not lie to you. I have had some real good times and some good laughs with my friends on game modes such as pro-am, our record is 4-40 because we suck and often get matched with 3- 99 overall players whilst we are mid 80s (matchmaking sucks).

Im not sure whether to recommend you this game or for you to never spend money on a 2K ever. Me and my friends say that this was the worst purchase we've made ever, and that we wont buy 2k23, but we all know deep down that we probably will buy it again next year because of how ♥♥♥♥ and funny this game is.

When/if i get unbanned, I will post back on here and talk about their customer service and appeal system, but if I dont get unbanned I am not sure what to do as I have technically been scammed/robbed. I'm sure that 2K arent that corrupt to keep bans on people that were error bans but ill let you know.

All in all, this game is fun, it is a video game after all. But dont expect high quality matchmaking, game optimisation or for the devs to care about you because thats not what this game prides itself on. Buy VC if you want, I was going to purchase £40 worth but now I'm a little scared in-case that something goes wrong.
