Training characters to become powerful warriors or efficient farmers is a really fun gameplay loop. The variety in races is great; you could hire some skeletons to be your fighters, hire some greenlanders to become your farmers, hire some scorchlanders to craft armour for you.
Also the fact that you can kidnap certain NPCs, causing cities to change leadership or fall is such a cool idea and makes this game super unique to me.
Can't forget the base building aspect. It allows for so much creativity with how crop fertility works - build a base in the swamp and you can be a hashish seller, build a base in Okran's Pride and grow wheatstraw for grog.
No idea how I've only just got into this game because it is literally perfect for me. Really excited for kenshi 2

story is great, side missions are creative and fun to do. Weapons are cool, driving motorbikes is enjoyable but cars feel weird and arcade-like. I seem to be lucky as I've only had minor bugs so far, people walking on the streets are kinda jank and a little immersion breaking + performance is pretty bad. Other than that, game has been great so far.

bought the game a couple of years ago, tried it, had no idea what to do and gave up. A few days ago I watched some tutorials on how to play and now I can't stop playing
