Too much RNG. It's just endless RNG nested in RNG all the way down. Coupled with 80% of the "upgrades" actually being negatives or neutral at best it causes imbalance. More than a few bugs too.

Excellent spin on rogue-like games and a nice throw back to classic gaming. Equally good way to kill either half an hour or half a day.
