There used to be an achievement showcase here. I have since come to the painful realization that these 'achievements' are little more than digital stamps of a permanent loss of time, the menial seizure of artificial MacGuffins, unimpressive and lacking value in the eyes of anyone but my former self. There are many reasons to play games, to have a shared experience, to unwind, or find inspiration, but most of these achievements are the mark of escape.

I have missed many revolutions, in my reversal of evolution.

There is no need for obsession to prove interest. Devotion is the dismissal of your own judgement, as such, there is comfort in religious habit, addiction. One can avoid blame when following the instruction of their master. A Completionist Showcase does not showcase your mastery of the game, it showcases its mastery of you.
