I really want to like this game but I don't. I find find it boring. If I want setback after setback them I'll simply go outside in the real world.

Nice models and map but same old logging physics which makes the game frustrating. Save your money and download mods instead.

Fun game but too many bugs and random crashes.

Getting better. It just gets frustrating when the devs change gameplay mechanics.

UPDATE

The game is broken again. Constantly dying to bee in eye despite the windscreen being intact and the windows closed. Just waited all week to retry the rally and that happens again. I can't really be bothered with this game anymore.

I bought this game after watching some streamers playing. I was looking forward to playing it as I grew up with this style of FPS and used to enjoy them. After a few rounds of S&D I thought I'd try out the other game modes. After being spawn killed a couple of times I quit and requested a refund. Now I remember why I stopped playing these type of shooters lol.

Not a lot of fun. Most of the time you're collecting and delivering building materials. The trouble with this is the AI traffic is truly awful which makes these tasks monotonus. On the plus side you can have the machinary delivered at a cost.

Operating the machinary can be glitchy but is still quite good fun if you like that sort of thing. The help sytem for the machines is comprehensive once you get used to it.

I couldn't recommend this game at full price but is worth a try if you see it on sale.

I've played PUBG since Early Access. On the whole I would say I've enjoyed playing but sadly as with most online games the cheating is now beyond control. It's a shame that it has got in this state. The player base has been in decline for sometime and will continue to do so as the Developers introduce yet more game modes further diluting the player base with more game modes.

It's 2024 now. I still play but it just seems to get worse

I've read a lot of negative reviews regarding this game which some make fair points but as a whole I think this game is worth the money. Yes the glitches are annoying but overall the game is surprisingly a lot of fun.

The equipment in the base game is more than adequate to get going. I would reccomend buying the drill ASAP to save fruitless mining. The other base equipment works fine though I would like to see an excacator in the 60+ tonne area or even a nice bucket wheel excavator to really get production going.

The DLC equipment is nice. Frankenstein machine aside most of the other equipment simply improves efficiency rahter than a big leap forward.

The two things that really annoy me are the miners mats glitching while changing them and the buckets that fly all over the place with the slightest tap. Hopefully this will be sorted out in time.

Overall I would say the base game and DLC represent good value for money. I've had a lot of enjoyment from this game and I know I'll keep playing it for a long time.

Update 19/02/18

The problem I'm now finding with the game is there is too much gold. It's nice at first to make lots of money but having to cleanout the washplant every 30 minites or so. I've now resorted to having 4 sets of mats but I still have to change them which becomes a bit tedios after a while. It would be nice if the devs could implement a hard mode with less gold so I can run the washplant for a few hours.

Update 11/09/18

I'm pleased to say the Devs have done a good job improving the game. They did impliment a hard mode with significantly less gold making the game more challenging. In addition to this they have reintroduced the repairs system and revamped the workers again adding to the challenge. I'm plesed to say they have also made good progress with improving game performance though you'll still need a fairly PC to run this game at decent FPS.

All in all I would recommend this game if you have a decent PC.

Lots of fun but the game has problems.

Nice graphics, it looks better than CSX Heavy Haul. I get around 40 fps but it drops to 15 - 25 fps around stations. Which I'm happy with considering I only have a FX6350 processor. I was looking for a reason to upgrade to a Ryzen chip anyway.

My main gripe is the signalling system. Why are the signal heads only two aspect and the highspeed junctions haven't got flashing aspects on approach. I think it was wrong not to include the 165 as this is the commuter end of the GWML.

That being said if you like train games the this is a lot of fun and well worth the money.
