Really fun survival game, and devs really put work into it. Despite the fact that it's Early Access, it's really good! 8/10

The game was absolutely wonderful. The story is well written, the characters are also well written, and all together it seems to really connect to the player. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this, and I do recommend it to friends and strangers alike.

Update: I forgot to mention that it is mostly narrative, so it's a fairly laid back game (until it's not)

Despite all the bad reviews, I quite like this game, and I hope it goes MUCH FURTHER! I hope it kind of delves more into a fantasy land, too, perhaps? Fantasy survival game would be very nice to see!

I have a very good reason for not recommending this game. In all due honestly, it was great. I loved it completely. BUT! Ever since I got my new hard drive last year, I was never able to play it. It says it's missing a file, so I replaced it, but it said it needed the original (which is impossible for me to get!). Four installs, and nothing.

Update: I actually got it working again, but sadly I have no clue how. But it works wonderfully!

Starbound - a game of galactic struggle and survival, creation and adventure. It's a great game, with many mechanics like Terraria (so Terraria players would be at home here). I loved this game since the first 5 minutes I've played, and now since it's fully out, I'm even happier. There's little bad things I can say about it, honestly! The developers worked hard on it, and so far I've seen no bugs myself (except for the fact water will build up with wooden lattice in the background). I heavily recommend this game to everybody and anybody.

There's a lot of good to this game, and I'll do it in a pro/con format:

Pros:
*You don't need to buy in game money. You can trade parts for it, and get what you want. Granted, Prime Access does require money. It also gives quuuuuuuite a bit.
*Every weapon is obtainable through crafting.
*You can play by yourself, with friends, or if you're feeling really dangerous, ONE friend.
*DE support is very helpful, and very responsive. The game is veeeeery community driven, and the players have changed the tide of the game.

Cons:
*The game can become FarmQuest 2077, as every weapon and Warframe does take some amount of rare resource. It is doable, though.
*Updates can be slow, and usually veteran players run out of content to do very quickly, causing players like me to take long breaks.
*Kickbot won't sing if you private message them.

All in all, I do recommend this progidal Free 2 Play game.
