Do not believe that the battle against the publisher has been won. The 170 countries that couldn't play still haven't been restored, and on top of that 3 more countries were added.

I'm doing my part.

Look, if you come to this game expecting another Darksiders or Darksiders II you are in for a rude awakening. Fury is not incredibly broken like the other horsemen and in this game you will suffer through bosses especially in the max difficulty. We are talking that if you pick Reckoning you are gonna have to master abusing the iframes, to master dealing damage, to fight for every inch in combat and you are gonna get 2 shot or one shot by every enemy in the game.

This game even while being sometimes incredibly hard, I find to be incredibly rewarding, making your journey through max difficulty settings a blast, going in again and again to defeat a boss until you finally you have their timings down. If you don't want this "Souls Like" experience I cannot recommend this game. But if you do I'll be very clear, this is harder than dark souls when playing at max difficulty.

As for the visuals, OST, story and character development I think it is considerably superior to its previous incarnations, making you have an unlikeable character like Fury truly become relatable.

As for a conclusion, this game is worth checking out as long as you have it very clear that this is a punishing and hard metroidvania experience, but if you can't play a game that doesn't have a big explorable map, a game that isn't inherently a power fantasy or a game that has an edgelord badass hero from the get go, then this game just isn't for you. Fantastic game, can't wait for them to make another about Strife and a final chapter to this epic saga!

Well, found this game because of a certain youtuber and the way he explained how it worked made it seem interesting. This game does not portray depression well, it is extremely pretentious and very easy to solve. Makes depression seem like it is easy work if you're a grown up, completely missing the point of it.

As a person who loves fighting games, I think that I should tell you the pros and cons of this game and I'll let you decide if it is worth it or not.
Pros:
Accessibility: There is no artificial difficulty unlike its predecessor, 1 frame links aren't impossible to pull off, however they are annoying and unnecessary. If a combo is hard to pull off in this game it is because the juggle might be hard or because there is a genuine timing that you aren't getting. The game also has decent trials which give you some cool combos and several actually useful ones unlike SF4 and all of its iterations.
Non toxic comeback mechanics: I know that people will bash me for this, however, ultra's in SF4 rewarded players for getting beaten up with the most powerful attacks in the game, here it is very different. V gauge rewards players for using their V skill giving the choice of doing more damaging combos, more meter building combos, better corner carry combos or combos that give the player more V gauge. V triggers are powerful, but they don't win games by themselves, and V reversals are a really healthy way to relieve the player of pressure.
Several playstyles: It is hillarious how players have complained about zoners, poke, mixup games and rushdown in this game all the the same time. The reality is that every character has their own personality and strengths, and when it comes to tiers you see characters based on blockstrings, zoners, rushdown characters, even neutral heavy characters. If you ever hear that this game has no footsies it is because players of intermediate and low skill can not deal with the fact that whiff punishing is hard, however extremely rewarding.
Easy to learn, hard to master: The basics have never been easier, and top play has never been more exciting and intense. Whiff punishing is actually an uncommon thing and rewards skilled players handsomely, hard reads are important but so are good reactions. This game is way deeper than what any street fighter 4 fanboy will ever tell you.
All dlc characters are obtainable by playing the game: Any character in the game can be bought with ingame money earned only by playing, 6 characters are just obtained by completing trials and easy survival runs aside from the game's story modes. The rest can be obtained by just playing ranked matches and through weekly fight money earning extra battles. I played very little of this game online and have only done the single player content that I desired and the only characters I'm missing are ones I don't wanna get. If you play this game it is easy to earn every character.

Cons:
Top tier characters: Tier lists are very present in this game and even though there is a lot of characters that are completely viable, some others have issues that haven't been addressed for a while and that can be detrimental to the experience of some players. Obviously, this is only valid if you're actually a player who's really damn good. If you're like platinum or even diamond level anything really is viable and you have no reason to complain.
Frame data: Because of the prevalence of pressure, frame data is key to winning many matches, this might be something that some players dislike due to the fact that it takes way more time to get to a decent skill floor than it should.
Net code: If you search for 4-5 bars then it will be perfectly fine for you to play and enjoy the game, anything below that is unacceptable.
Small roster: It is true that playing can earn you the whole roster, however some people might dislike the so called "grind".

An extra comment I'll give is that there is a lot of misinformation about this game, from people still complaining about crush counters, to people saying "x character is dead" while it still sees tournament play, and even people complaining about ads when they were literally available for a single week. Just that, one week. Capcom listens to us people, we gave them backlash for the ads and they removed them, people talked about cammy and akuma and both characters got sensibly nerfed. Another thing people will say is that SFV is a cashgrab because of DLC, when capcom had previously released Street fighter IV, Super Street fighter IV, Super Street fighter IV Arcade edition and Ultra Street fighter IV as separate games when they were literally balance patches for the previous version. In Street fighter V we got seasons, and everyone can get every character of every season, everyone gets balance updates without the need to buy a new game, so yeah, people love to complain that it is unacceptable to have this game have dlc when the previous version had 4 different releases to screw over their consumers.

In conclusion, this game is good for experienced players and newcomers alike, although it isn't perfect by any means, the game is still great.
