Overall I do think this is a good game (if you get it on sale), although it has some serious shortcomings.
For example, even though there is a tutorial that covers most of the basics, at the beginning is not given enough importance on how you absolutely HAVE TO use the Select Role feature for designs. You don't do that, you are pretty much going to fail within the first 2 years.
Once you manage to create tanks good enough to fulfill the minimum requirements for certain roles (and you keep them updated), you will manage to grow fairly easily, unless you get stuck in the no contract loop.
By no contract loop I mean the situation where you fail to complete or even get a contract because the requirements are too high, you did not deliver the tanks in time, had issues with production and so you lagged behind with the progress points. If that happens, it's pretty much game over because without enough points you cannot unlock the next era research (even if you completed the research tree of the current era), and contracts are the main way to get points. The issue is that moving forward your clients will ask for tanks that you cannot produce, and therefore you will not be able to complete contracts, which mean you cannot make new design, so you get stuck in this loop until the company goes bankrupt.

However, the game does provide some tools to avoid this situation. By ALWAYS (and I mean always) buying the intel on your rival's offer for each contract and buying trophies, you will be able to remain competitive as the game continues. Also unlock new branches as soos as possible, they are not expensive to maintain and even 1-2 extra contracts could save you from the loop.

Overall as I said I enjoy the game, but I think they should maintain the research tree as an independent entity from the points system, or at least increase the amount you get from research and studying other tank designs.

The story is pretty interesting, but the gameplay is simply awful. A pity, really. I'm gonna try to give a change to the game since it's too late for refund, but I doubt it gets better as it goes on.

Very enjoyable, it has been a while since I found myself so immersed in a game like this. My only personal critique is that a better display of the economy's stats would be nice, aside from the line going up or down with different colors. Stats like in the final page would be amazing for example, just a suggestion.
Anyway, wonderful game!

After 4.0 they messed up this game so much that it went back to early access. Seriously, what the hell is going on with CA? Are they trying to threaten us by showing us how the game will be if we don't buy their dlcs?
Bugs have increased tenfolds, promised fixed and improvements are barely noticeable and the game's stability has dropped to the lowest level I've ever experienced in WH3.
Things are not looking good for this franchise.

Not worth it for the features that it introduces, the new origins are bland compared to the free ones you can get from mods and basically only add an annoying empire close to being op (seriously, why is the IA so eager to accept subjugation?). Disappointing, the contents from the free update are way better.

The cat sings along when you play the growth song. 10/10 will play guitar to my plants again.
