not a JRPG hater but i dislike turn-based combat, BUT this game did an AMAZING job making the combat feel fresh, smooth, and immersive as possible ! the story is very well written ,the VA are excellent and the OST is a masterpiece !
Defiantly recommend this game !

Honestly, there are better ARPG's to play then this...
the game is still super buggy (many game breaking bugs)
character models look so cheap and ugly (and of course there is a handy in game shop to fix that)
the combat is not that fun and unique, the end game builds are OP or total garbage, not balanced and fun for all the classes in the game, the story is shallow and boring, and the grind is real.
the game feels bad to play with friends, end game progression is annoying to sinc with 3-4 players.

if you love ARPG's and wanna give this one a shot, i recommend buying on a discount.

I loved the first game, the sequel does all the good things from the first game even better.

This game is very special
if you like ARPG's but want to feel something more fresh and unique its a game for you.
i recommend going in 100% blind, you can get very strong in many way's you don't need to search online for a "build" just try things and have fun !
also don't get spooked by the "hardcore death" mechanic its chill and you don't really "lose" much when you die .

More JRPG's with this kind of fun and rewarding combat !
