I've played the free version first before finding the steam version and i will say... Not a fan of the steam version.
It has more bugs (namly some characters are invisible in dialogs or menus) the artwork Scenes are invisible (even the "Please Wait" moment where Deathpolca pukes) I assume this is bugged and needs fixing my end as i've seen others with it...
The bonus is nice, but holy damn can 500k Iru and 80 of every stat fragment/ exp book make you borderline overpowered (it's a cheat gift for buying the steam version but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...) (also no collection menu for Events, only music which sucks... and no Achievements menu...)

Game itself playing the free version is stupidly good and plays super well, I can't recommend the Steam version personally but i can HIGHLY recommend this game, especially for it's really well made story.
If the Steam version was pretty much a carbon copy of the free version, i'd gladly buy it again and play through the game again (Took 34 hours to beat, about a good 4/5 of that was me farming or exploring, so a 30-40 hour game if you're going through fairly chill)

Only complaint i can really think of off the top of my head (SPOILERS) would be that Near the end of the game if you're not careful is Mebius's duel with Kudan, it's Required and Kudan himself seems around level 70-ish, Mebius cannot farm levels at this point and if you're not AT LEAST level 50, you will have a really, really tough time and can be a potential softlock (i had him level 54 but you cannot do the best grind with him effectively as he cannot become naked for the farm and stays behind, you can farm the boss of the area for Terra books but your other girls don't get exp for the boss fight)

Other than that 1 oversight of a potential softlock, The game is a flawless masterpiece and i'm Shocked how a JRPG H Game can be on par with a lot of AAA Games of today's standard.

Probably one of the greatest games i've ever had the pleasure of playing, while there is some things to be improved (the writing in some places to give more meaning to certain scenes, some more variety in some new mechanical way/ more playstyle options (without ruining the current mechanics too much) and some other minor things)

Regardless of potential downsides, it's over-shined by all of the great things about this game.
Solid Combat and a decently flexible playstyle
Good Difficulty without being tedious or too easy.
Well placed resting points (1 before at least boss always and others in good checkpoint locations)
Unique mechanics (namely the spirits and how they function with a main (+empowered main) and sub and the usage system)
Great soundtrack and setting (ambience could be a little better in some locations but wasn't bad either)

Honestly i hope this game is refined a bit and i hope many more get the chance to experience this great game, it's deffinately in my top 5 favourite games and i really hope this game gets a DLC with much more to do, as that would be the cherry on top.
As of Writing this, i've 100% completed the game to show the extra love for this game.

Honestly not as great as Astrox: HSE... Imperium handles worse (no way to manually control ship due to lack of up and down controls) much more... empty and no enemies seen and i've searched for a while, most stations are useless or items and equipment in stations are way overpriced for "early" game and along with this everything in stations is really confusing and over complicated, half the time i get lost in the interface.

Overall the game has potential, but unless some love goes into the game like HSE, Imperium will continue to be the lesser of the two games.

You should buy this as Neptune needs you money for pudding.... 100% facts.

soooo.... to anyone who likes making a boss cough up their internal organs you can go ahead and slap on that bloodthirsty rosary but other than that these equips are superb for early game and also getting yawnsville challenges done earlier and a lot easier for that early agl bonus. (also bloodthirsty will also level the damage challenge within seconds so you can also do that...)

Really fun and derpy for murdering the early parts of this game without even doing much, 3rd weapons are always useless over the others due to hp drain but other than that, really worth it and allows for some more peaceful grinding that won't take too long and also allows for more smooth and easy fights if you're just looking for less of a challenge or want to see more of what the game has to offer without lengthy battles.

of course, don't equip them if you want some sort of a real experience or a challenge, these weapons literally have over triple your starting damage after all.

game is completely unbalanced and one sided, making something nice = never winning and always getting destroyed by some block of thusters and teslas or being shot down by a million flak/ rail guns.
Honestly install a better creation pvp game, as this one won't be fixed anytime soon, learn from my mistakes.

Edit: after some time back to the game and experiencing a bunch of people using other fun and odd crafts, the game "can" be ok, but this game still drives me up the wall whenever i see somebody using a Tesla craft, one shotting you, thinking they're great and that they performed some crazy move when in reality they just face planted you craft and did nuke levels of damage before you could even turn around to shoot them.

Edit 2: with the Community Patch this game got some desired love and i can honestly say there's a lot better, some things stil require severe balancing but i'd say every Tier class except for T5 is much more balanced and enjoyable. Good job devs, now continue caring and this game will most likely jump back into life.

Insanely fun and well thought out Turn-based Game with so much improvements over the older games which were all good to begin with. Highly recommend playing if you love your Turn-based games as this is one of the best out there.

A little lack luster and i hope the new game will fix most of this game's problems.
other than that it's a very good game for its price and i've gotten enough time out of the game to know i like it alot.

very worth buying if you like being the god of running five survivors through endless hell.
the custom items and characters has made this so much fun to come back to, i like to make characters from other games or animes and their various items and pit them against the road trip or chopper game modes.

all and all worth getting if you wanna make some characters and items and see what would happen in a zombie outbreak.
