So lets start by saying, I started f2p but after about 6 hours i decided to upgrade to legendary. it is an early access game so there are times its gonna be buggy,clunky,or unbalanced. its a work in progress, however that given this is one of the best dev teams ive seen in a while. They actually listen to their player base and quickly try to make improvements and fixes. For example, the f2p experience is vast different today than it was a week ago due to player feedback. Now onto the actual game. My biggest complaint would be that there is little to no new player experience so there is a steep learning curve. It is all trial and error to figure out how to even extract or that there is a merchant that lets you change your base gear to include essentials like shoes and healing potions. The game is very difficult but i think that is part of why i enjoy it so much. I enjoy having to learn how to dodge each different enemy's attacks and having to gauge distance. I main the bard class and i think the mini game used to play your songs is very fun as well. Autism brain go brrrrr. With friends or alone, i have been having a blast playing dark and darker though i know its not for everyone i would recommend you give it a try and if you enjoy it support the devs by getting legendary. This game has gotten a lot of hate for the "paywall" and im the only one in my playgroup thats paid but weve yet to hit one. People need to remember that before it came to steam and f2p was introduced it was pay to play only on its own launcher out of steam. I commend ironmace for trying to make a great free to play experience while also trying to let the people who already paid feel like they are getting their moneys worth.

The game is hilarious and absoulutely terrifying at the same time. The game has a lot of bugs as is expected of a game in alpha but i cant wait to see where this game goes. Its been a blast with friends so far and it can only go up

A lot of fun, Only real problem is that its pretty dead right now but hopefully that gets better with the full release. Had the game for close to a week and have been able to find a group to play with fairly consistently.

Great game. Even after the story, collect all the different relics and potions is a blast. One of the only games i can stand acheivement hunting in.

I love the game but there are some balance and matchmaking issues that need to be worked out. If you can look past that it is an amazing game that is great to play with friends or alone.
