I truly think Gears of War 5 is one of the strongest entries in the series. Its campaign to me is among the best ones (Gears of war 2 , 3 and 5) with a very compelling narrative that takes genuine interest in the themes and world established in the original trilogy. Multiplayer has a small but dedicated player base with a high skill ceiling that is incredibly rewarding to learn. The horde mode offering is substantial and while it does not hit the peak of Gears of War 3's horde mode, its a worthy attempt at evolving the game mode.

While not perfect I think Gears 5 stands strong as one of the better entries in a really consistently good series of games, Id recommend it to almost anyone who enjoys tight gun play and yearns for the feeling of the good old 7th generation of consoles.

(Warning to OCE player, versus mode is very hard to find a game due to the way matchmaking works, to get games you will probably have to piggy back off of an american player or try a VPN)

This game has genuinely found a way into my heart. I think there is something special here and I would love to see this be iterated on and or continued either through updates or a complete project. If you go in knowing that this project is more of a proof of concept then I think there is a lot of promise on display.

Ashen is a really strong experience. Ashen has this contagious sense of optimism throughout which carries you through some of its shortcomings. I recommend not just engaging with this game as "Dark Souls" but as "Ashen" It does its own thing with the very basic Souls framework and It's a refreshing experience that I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the new content is very disappointing, in my original review, I felt the game had potential. Had a fun little story and some neat momentum-based gunplay. I was banking that at the very least, I could turn my brain off and enjoy some new cutscenes and story missions every few months, but what is on offer is solely grind-focused and drops the ball in this regard. It's a shame it turned out like this.

If you accept it for what it is and do not disregard it for what it isn't there is quite a lot of fun to be had (though flawed). Suicide Squad is a live service looter shooter from the ground up, it wasn't what I wanted, but I found my fun within. The story is a fun superhero romp through some cool set pieces though some potential is sadly wasted. Where the game shines is in its momentum-based gunplay, mixing traversal with snappy shooting and a fun skill tree makes for a pretty engaging (if a bit too noisy) combat system. Overall the game is solid but not worth the price as of right now unless you are dying for a new looter shooter experience. Don't buy into the hate, go in with an open mind and you may just end up having some good fun, just wait for a sale. I hope Rock Steady keeps to their word and maintains its player-friendly model.

Genuinely the best 2D brawler I have ever played. Its systems are so incredibly well made, they flow through every single part of this game. SOR4 always has a meaningful decision to make in its game play loop and its intoxicating. There is a great pick up and play casual aspect to this game as well as more than enough depth for those looking to master its systems. I cannot recommend Streets of Rage 4 enough.

Soulstice is a great game that clearly has a lot of love put into it, the game has its issues but for the people who give it a proper chance they will find a really interesting and well-thought-out character action game that manages to find its own identity rather than being the DMC and Bayonetta "clone" that people brushed it off as. It's one of the best character action games I've played in recent memory and I hope the team uses the incredibly solid foundation they have created to make more works of this quality.

Alisa is a game that is clearly from start to finish made with so much love and passion. Casper really knocks it out of the part in terms of aesthetics and atmosphere. I loved every minute of the game. I beg you, play this game. It deserves all and any attention it gets.

The game is great fun.

It's snappy, feels great to play, and rewards those who think ahead and prepare for the hunt.

The game is tough but absolutely doable
The more your hunter grows and learns about his foes, the more YOU the player grow alongside them (I am a sucker for this cohesion)

I am very excited to see the future of this game and where it goes. But as it stands right now Falsepine is a fast and ferocious action game that has a lot to offer, especially to the player who puts in the time.

I highly recommend giving it a go.

It takes the best parts of old school RE and adds in some Silent Hill and does its own unique spin on the genre and creates one of the most passionate and fantastic horror games I have played in a long time.

Its one of those games that makes me remember why I love video games.

Please support it and enjoy a masterfully crafted project.

Its a one of a kind gem. One of the most genuinely human and raw stories ever told. Like Automata its a story that can only be truly told through the medium of a video game. If you are able play the game and experience it yourself.
