Halo Infinite sets out to redefine the classic Halo experience through it's innovative campaign model redesign and it's in depth multiplayer experience.

The Halo Infinite campaign is set on Zeta Halo which you can explore through an immersive open world experience. You can also choose to simply pursue the campaign missions and completely ignore the open world experience on offer.
I found very few issues with my play though of the campaign aside from a few frame drops. Playing on the open world of Zeta Halo may strain your PC a bit to maintain anything over 70-80 FPS on medium to high settings. My PC set up is a Ryzen 7 2700x with an RTX 2080. When I was playing the actual campaign missions however, I stayed at a steady 144 FPS for the duration of the missions.
The use of RPG mechanics to level up your FOB capabilities and the uses of your available equipment make the campaign experience an exciting ever changing combat environment offering the player multiple ways to engage the enemies they are presented with.
The difficulty is a bit odd to pin down. I originally started the campaign on Heroic as that was the standard difficulty in previous Halo games. I completed the starting mission smoothly however, after being let loose on Zeta Halo I quickly discovered that things were much more difficult to handle on a
that difficulty in an open world environment. I then started the campaign over on normal difficulty and had a much more pleasurable but still challenging experience. I would suggest playing the campaign on Normal difficulty first to get a feel for the game and it's mechanics on offer then play through on a higher difficulty if you feel that you want more of a challenge.
The story in Halo Infinite is not the best, but it does do a good job of setting the universe and providing the appropriate motivation and story telling without completely gating off the casual Halo community and newcomers to the franchise (looking at you Halo 4).
At the end of the campaign I found myself satisfied without wishing there was more. This Halo could serve as either the closing of the franchise or a soft reboot.

The multiplayer in Halo infinite does a great job of taking elements from Halo 3, Reach, 4, and 5 and merging them into one cohesive package. The way that the equipment system is balanced by having a set number of uses per equipment helps balance some of the issues that were present in Halo 3. The ADS system does not feel as required as it did in later titles such as Halo 4, and 5 but it is still a welcome system that has it's uses in certain combat situations. The weapon sandbox is well balanced and ensures that each weapon has a purpose and a specific situation in which that weapon should be used over another weapon. Well, all the weapons except the Ravager which at this time is essentially useless in PvP.
The 10 multiplayer maps on offer are all well balanced and offer a satisfying competitive environment to play in. With Forge delayed even further than before I just hope the community does not get bored of the maps on offer and decide to move on to other games.
Currently there are no options available to select the game modes you would like to play. This issue has been addressed by 343 and they assure us that they are developing a system to select the playlist of games you like to play. Again, I just hope that this change happens sooner rather than later.

I would say that Halo Infinite is a great package of multiplayer and campaign that does a great job of welcoming new fans as well as providing a great experience and for long time fans of the franchise.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a great team based fighter game that appears very simple at the start but can be a very deeply mechanical fighter game after learning and understanding the nuances of the mechanics.

-DBFZ is a nice stroll down memory lane for fans of the franchise. Offering memorable matchups and encounters from the anime, manga, and associated films.

-The story is a new original tale which is a much needed break from the original formula most Dragon Ball games take with having the player engage in fights in chronological order from the television series. The introduction of the new character android 21 and her newly crafted story arch truly showcase the franchises ability to grow and develop past the groundwork that has been laid in the past.

-The multiplayer is well populated and well balanced, not placing new players into matches with higher ranked combatants unless the player specific sets their matchmaking preferences to do so.

-Various team compositions keep the game fresh by allowing players to experiment and mix up their teams in order to test a vast array of capabilities, character synergy, and combo potential

-The ease of access the game provides with its auto combos and fast paced gameplay allows for new players to feel successful in the early hours of play and promotes a fun environment to expand their game knowledge and potentially grow into much more adept and mechanically minded fighters.

-The only issue with the game is the net code. While by far not the worse I have ever experienced I will say there were some online matches that started just fine but I would get random 5+ frame delays that would last about 1-2 seconds. This didn't happen all the time and may even be a result of geographical location of the people I was playing against but it is something to think about when you are playing an online fighter game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a fun, easy to get into fighter game that offers a skill ceiling for those willing and dedicated enough to practice and continue testing their skills.
