As a big resident evil fan playing them all since the ps1 days i think it's fair for me to say that this "remaster" isn't a remaster at all but more of a re-imagine. When the game was first announced i was really looking forward to getting the game to the point where i pre-ordered it but oh boy was a disappointed.

Pros
- The boss fights are some what fun
- There is more than just the base 3 difficulty
- The game as a whole looks really good

Now here is where we get into the meat and bone of the review.

Cons
- It isn't a remake but more of a reimagined
- Mercenaries operation mad jackal was removed
- The game as a whole is really short and lacks replayability
- Nemesis is more annoying that he is scary

I remember playing the original running through the police station. As you go past the save room under the stairs nemesis hurls himself through the window and that for me was the scariest part of re3. If you've come looking for the game that you played back in 99' then don't bother it's really not worth your time or money.

Loved the first one so going back to play this one made me appreciate all the little things and the big things the game has to offer
