Definitely worth buying/playing if you like racing games (IMO).
Pros:
+ Really good balance of driving mechanics combining arcade and sim-like properties which will appeal to a wide audience
+ Over 700 cars from a variety of manufacturers over different time periods. Each feels different to drive.
+ Many different game modes to enjoy, from road racing to cross country to team games to eliminator, each one is fun.
+ Nice big, beautiful open world map.
+ Seasonal changes implemented beautifully, each feels different to drive.
Cons:
- Overall the game feels like it is made for XBOX, and not PC. The menus and UI are clunky from a PC perspective.
- Servers seem to be potato (Or me having high ping from South India), causing disconnection issues, multiple long loading screens to join a friend's convoy and race together, Sometimes causes loading screens of over 5 minutes (The single player is mostly smooth and runs without issues)
- Balancing of cars seem to be a bit off as there are definitely some OP cars in multiplayer racing and overall AWD seems to be overused in all kinds of races.

Definitely one of the best titles this year, especially coming from Supergiant games who are known to put a lot of love into their work.
The game itself is a roguelike adventure, with a pretty simple plot and many likeable characters who get deeper as you interact with them.
Gameplay is as to be expected from a roguelike with crisp lots of unique enemies, and levels designed so that you are also aware of your positioning whilst trying to kill multiple enemies. The many different passives/boons make sure that each playthrough is different experience and players are rewarded for trying different weapons by the bonus rewards.
After a single playthrough, you unlock further modifiers to the levels/enemies which will keep gameplay interesting.
As for difficulty, I feel like it hits the sweet spot where it isn't too easy or near impossible making each completion feel extremely satisfying, apart from the unique dialog upon each completion/ playthrough.
I'm over 20 hours in already and I feel like this is well worth the money I spent buying this game.
