I'm editing and changing this review after the 1896 Update.

I've put a lot of hours into this game and after playing it for a few matches after the new 1896 update, I've decided that this game is no longer worth the time. I really enjoyed the game, but now it's nearly unplayable for me and my usual group I played with.

The new menu UI is the most confusing and unfriendly thing I've ever come across. It takes twice as long for me to make a Hunter and get into a match now than it did in the previous iteration of the game.

The addition of the most unrealistic and unfun ballistics system also makes the game the most painstaking to play. Long-rifle ammo has the most bullet-drop despite being thrice as fast (in most cases) as short-ammo (which has the least drop).

The last thing is the new event and map. I played it, it is the most insane thing ever, trying to not only get used to an unfriendly menu, an unfriendly ballistic system, and now an unfriendly map with a new area-boss makes for the most unfun experience. It's like getting your feet ran over by a wheelchair while being given a purple-nurple and a sandpaper handy all at the same time - which would almost be preferable to playing this game.

This game is top tier. I have played DS3, and DS remastered, and while both games are great and have their flaws, this is perhaps the best. The Soundtrack is one of the best OSTs in the world bar a few games for debate (thank you Kitamura, legend), and the gameplay and story are incredibly interesting and captivating.

I highly recommend this game to pretty much everyone, sure the game can be difficult, but you get used to it.

Very worth, much enjoy

This game is honestly, out of the dozens of horror games I've played, the most terrifying experience you can find in a PC game, at least in my opinion. The graphics in this game are exemplar, and despite having an arsenal in your inventory, the xenomorph is still a TERRIFYING threat. It is well worth the purchase, especially if you get it on sale.

Love this game so much. Even the glitches in the game are cool! Other than the semi-boring story the game world is huge and is expanded so much more with DLC's and workshop mods!
