We dive together, or not at all!

phenominal single player experience

This was an unoptimized release and barbaric of them to not only freeze CSGO entirely but also leave reviews from CSGO on CS2 to make it seem more positive than it actually is. In my own experience of CS2, hitboxes are broken, the game will occasionally freeze for no reason, significant lag/rubber banding will happen sometimes despite having a consistent connection of under 50 ping. more lobbies have had hackers in them compared to the original CSGO. The game will frequently continue to move my character despite my hand being off they keyboard entirely, and the competitive matchmaking system is so bugged, that when I finally won 10 games and received my rank, the game decided to strip that from me and demand I win 10 more games to receive another rank after one lost game.

The game looks and sounds much better, there's a lot of QoL improvements.

That being said, it's still clearly in early access and should not have forced everybody to replace the superior product.

It is an enjoyable game, and I have put a considerable amount of hours into it across PS4, Battle.net, and even steam. That being said, the decisions they have made regarding this game's features and monetization are absolutely atrocious. First, they started with locking away old content for the sake of "saving disc space", which permanently prevented you from accessing content you previously paid up to $100 for, then they made a battle pass. $10 every 3 months (now $12) to take part in any new content, and forcing powerful gear unlocks behind that new content. Then, the DLC. $40 once a year (on top of the battle pass) to play new content and get gear, and forcing old gear to stay at a certain level lower than the current expansions. And just because they claim the micro transactions are cosmetic only doesn't make it any better when they have a GHOST SHELL cost upwards of $5-$7, or armor sets upwards of $20 (the price of MANY very good, old games available on steam), not to mention you won't even be able to use a piece of the armor cosmetic if you choose to have a unique piece of armor on because they won't allow you to customize exotics the same way you can anything else.

TL;DR Bungie started with a good game, and ruined it by making it a F2P game you have to spend $80 a year to play, then riddling it with overly expensive micro transactions

The team mates you will get in trios are functionally retarded. On top of that sometimes Anti-Cheat will fail an integrity check and force kick you to the main menu of the game, forcing you to leave the match unable to rejoin and start a new match. It also consistently crashes before being able to select your character at least twice before being able to get into a match
