Chill and extremely entertaining. It has that "just one more tile" feel just like Civ 6.

I would love to see some more depth added as the game develops.

People's complaint with this DLC is frequently about the price and the content you receive with that purchase. Personally I do not agree with either of those statements and want to address them.

1. Is it expensive? yes. Is the price comparable to other games? Absolutely, The Frontier pass fits the industry Standard. 2. Is the content lacking? No. personally I have quite enjoyed the new features. The Dev's have been quite transparent with what is coming with the frontier pass. I don't feel cheated, I know what came with it and I think if you are a Civ fan its worth the price.

The Dev's have shown that they are willing to keep working on Civ 6 and I appreciate the many new features we have. The game continues to be developed and honed to be increasingly fun with many playstyles and strategies. I look forward to see what more is to come with the pass.

An amazing and chill city builder with awesome aesthetics. The way the building interacts is very fluid and easy to catch on to. I think this title is very good as is but anticipate many cool new features in the future.

There is certainly endless amounts of potential with where this could go. It may become a little repetitive after a few hours at this stage in development but I think it is worth supporting. That being said I have also seen some other players use very unique building techniques so your imagination is really the limit to this game.

Townscaper is easily a game that you can spend some time fiddling around with while waiting for friends to que in other games or if you just want to do something chill for a few minutes.

Edit: Dev is constantly updating, bug fixing, and adding new features. It's Great!

10/10 for being so dang cute

A high quality game with many styles of play. Overall very unique in its own way, keeping gameplay interesting with a unique horror and grotesque feel.

Here is my opinion after one full game worth of play (approximately 12hrs)

Pros:
-Disasters are well done (I named my first city under a volcano Pompeii, I was not disappointed with the results).
-Climate is an interesting addition and well developed.
-Diplomatic victory has a much better system then Civ V. I actually found it enjoyable and dynamic.
-CANADA!!!!! (Hecking been waiting for this for so long).
-For the most part, I enjoyed the new districts. (canals are fun to mess around with, but the dams seem kinda useless).
-The new units are cool and entertaining (seems like the jumps between unit strength in eras have lessened slightly).
- Not sure if the AI got a boost but I had an extremely entertaining battle with Hungary and they actually fought back almost as well as a human player.
-Oh and lets not forget production ques (it's about dang time).

Cons:
-The new Civs seem pretty weak for multiplayer/competitive play. (bonuses are very situational for a few).
-Price (this thing ain’t cheap ya’ll).
- Where all my new maps at? (I mean we have plenty of mods that add maps, but you would think the developers would come out with more).

Summary:
Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this DLC. If your not a dedicated Civ fan you might want to wait for a sale seeing the price is huge. Does it add $50 worth? Probably not. Is it fun? I had a blast. Tbh this is the kinda DLC to diversify and enhance the game that I have been waiting for.

Stardew valley really reminds me of years ago playing Harvest moon. The style of the game is very similar. I found this game entertaining, but it did not take long for it to become a little dull. My biggest issue would have to be how similar it is to the harvestmoon games I played in the past. I would expect from a game made in 2016 to have made some considerable expansion upon the ideas of the past, but to be honest there seems to be very little new. There are so many areas that could have more intersting interactions and gameplay, but are left at its simplest element. Overall it is well done the art work is fantastic and I always love seeing inde-developers creating fun games that challenge the AAA-meta by creating a game that people had no Idea that they were missing.

Stardew Valley is a gem. It lacks depth, but the heart that the developers poured into the game is evident. I love the fact that it brough me back to my childhood and I give Chucklefish productions a thumbs up for a job well done.

Hollow Knight is a true masterpiece. I had heard that it was a good inde title, but it truly suprised me how well the game simply plays. It starts off easy, as a simple platformer and adds new and exciting mechanics as the game progresses, but make no mistake this game slowly morphs into an unforgivable wasteland full of traps and dangerous enemies. Currently I am only 10 hours in and I know that I have only scratched the surface of what is yet to come. My childhood was full of platformers like Mario and Sonic, and this really brings home the feeling of those classics again. With a certain abilty to keep me more intrested with the story rather then hectic mayhem of some of the other newly released platformers. In summary I found this game very fun and would recommend to anyone who has an extra buck.

After playing this game for a considerable amount of time (many offline hours not counted) here is my opinion.

Pros~
~The District System is Very Neat and I think it is a Wonderful Addition to civ. It allows much more diversity when planning how to plan your cities.
~New Policy system is quite unique and fresh. That being said I would love to see the indrodution of having to choose negative policies. (your Government can be all positive ya know)
~less reliance on building wonders (Civ 5 you pretty much win the game if you could build the wonders before your opponents)
~City states have been greatly updated since civ 5 (all kinds of unique and cool bonuses)
~improved multiplayer. (Way better then Civ 5)
~Great people now have new system which is really cool

Cons~
~ AI is terrible. Prob the worst AI I have ever seen. Not only are the AI absolutely terrible at combat but they often impossible to please. ie. most every game i have played result in every nation being Angry at me even when i have never declared war.
+note on AI in all the games i played it was clear that some of the AI Leaders have clear Advantages over the other AI leaders. For example Germany was almost Always at the top, and Egypt at the bottom of the score board.
+ note AI has been receving updates and may improve in the future.
~ Religion Has not changed at all since Civ 5 . (the Ai also spams missionaries and apostles and blankets your map with them, this can be really irritating)
~ Personally I did not like the art direction, after Civ 5 i was hoping that the developers would pursue a more realistic aproach to the the next game. The leaders look extreamly goofy in my opinion.
~ No Dlipomatic victory yet ( There is now a Religion victory)
~ Diplomacy with AI is Pretty Bad
~ Alliances with AI are pointless ( if you get attacked you ally will never come to help you)

I could go on but, these are the main points I feel should be brought up. I want to say i was really torn on to give a positive or a negative review. there are lots of things that i liked but there are also things that i wish that could be undone. If you are a Civ fan I can't really say if you will like it or not, it has it's weaknesses and strengths. I would say if its on sale buy it but, at its current price its not worth it. Hopefully the DLC will spice things up in the future.
